The kids and the grown ups enjoyed the light show in the great hall. The rooms were comfy and the kids had a ball in thw pool with a bunch of other hotel guest's kids. Had breakfast buffet in the restaurant. It was delish, but very busy on a Sunday (of course). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We picked this hotel because we've stayed at Doubletrees before and they've been great. This one is not a Doubletree anymore though. The good...the hotel is beautiful. The rooms in the old section are gorgeous and the Grand Hall is amazing. Also the ladies working in the executive lounge are fabulous and exceptionally nice. The not so good...self parking is... Set inside the stunningly restored Union Station, the DoubleTree has a lot going for it, including one of the most spectacular lobbies (the old arrival hall) that I've ever seen. But, a number of issues on my recent stay really detracted from the experience. First, on arrival at 3:30 p.m., room was not yet ready, which almost made us miss... More

Staying at this historic train station was an amazing experience. The place is just beautiful. The rooms are very nice and the staff was wonderful. From the moment you pull up to the curb, to the moment you step in the lobby you are feel like traveling royalty. Seeing is believing with this one.

We checked in on Friday at 2:30pm and our room wasn't ready. Ok. The hotel said check in wasn't until 3:00. Rocco said they would call us when the room was ready. They didn't. We went back at 5:30. No explanation, no apology, just handed us our keys. We asked where our bags were. She said they were "on the... More

Just stayed here for a conference last week. This place can accomodate anything! The meeting rooms were clean and easily accessable. My room was great, with the exception of the iron that just sputtered out a bunch of water in random intervals! The room was kept clean but they didnt seem to get to my room until after 4pm. There... This hotel is huge and beautiful. Only down fall is we got a bit lost. However the lobby is terrific and their hourly light show is so neat. This hotel should be in movies! Such history here. A must stay.

Was here for four days during a church conference before moving to a different hotel for the personal part of our St. Louis trip. The rooms here were updated, comfortable and the staff was friendly. The layout of the hotel was a little odd but once we adjusted to it everything was fine. Some small tweaks could be made -... More

We loved loved loved our stay - sadly only one night! We had the best service ever...better than Disney, better than Vegas... seriously each staff member was accommodating, welcoming, helpful, great with kids, never too busy and went above and beyond. The hotel and room was great - yes it's a little bit of a maze but fun and the... More

I will start with the fitted sheet on the bed was to small so kept coming off. We came back from a long, hot walk and wanted a cold beer, the bar did not open until 4.00pm. The iron in the room did not work, no umbrellas for loan, dreadful shower and the grand Hall closed twice in five days... More
