We stayed over a busy weekend. Hotel was full. Staff did a great job. We were a little disappointed in the room, but it wasn’t terrible. WiFi did not work in bedroom area. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sheets did not stay on the bed during the night, so made an uncomfortable night even worse. Also, no tissues in the room. This was the first time I had experienced no tissues. Breakfast was only ok. Would have liked a better pastry selection. Nice large area for eating, though. We tried to use the shuttle, but had a very long wait even though they kept telling us it would be there in a few minutes. After waiting 45 mins, we drove ourselves. Another couple in our group had a 45 min wait to take the shuttle back to the hotel. They need more shuttles or a better route on busy game days.

Stayed for a week in July on vacation with the family for the 4th of July festivities. This is a really nice Residence Inn, one of the nicest I've stayed at. The kind that has their own bar which was awesome. More on that later. Staff was generally really nice. Breakfast was really good, they had the higher end Marriott eggs with both regular and egg white scrambled eggs every day (if you stay at a lot of Marriott properties you know what I mean). Gym is decent size and usable. Pool was nice with a good hot tub. Room was nice and clean. Some squeaky doors but they were taken care of. Free shuttle within 3 miles which takes you to the arch which was key since it's a bit out of the way and not really walking distance to downtown. Surrounding area isn't the nicest but safe enough. Favorite part of the trip was watching the fireworks from the bar with $5 Captain and Coke all night. Was shocked by that actually, very nice! Would definitely stay here again.

The Residence Inn by Marriott St Louis Downtown was a good place to stop during our recent road trip. Check in was quick and the staff was really nice. The main reason I didn't give them five stars was the bed. Unfortunately, the bed was a bit too hard for me and I slept poorly. The room was pretty clean and well laid out. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices. If you like beds on the hard side, this is a good place to stay in St. Louis.

Room great, breakfast very good, my 11-year-old loved the pool and basketball court, but my experience at this hotel is about the staff. A car parked next to us in the parking lot smashed into our door with his door, doing substantial damage to our six-week-old car! We were in the hotel at the time and unaware of this until we were heading out to dinner that evening when we saw the damage. The manager, Greg Kreith, was immediately responsive and attentive to our situation. Fortunately, there was a video camera recording the entire incident. Greg reviewed the video during the time frame, found the guilty party and shared the video with us. We were able to identify the vehicle in the parking lot, get the license place, vin number, and the police gave us the registration information for us to submit to our insurance company. The staff here has gone above and beyond during this event, in addition to the manager: Micah Hill, Lorraine Cruz, Christie Higham and Ashley Cody. They made a frustrating the difficult situation manageable and bearable and helped us keep it in perspective. And Marc and shuttle bus driver, although had nothing to do with the incident, was a friendly and helpful tour guide!

This hotel has its quiet and peace near a business hub with a mix of business and families adorning the place. A decent breakfast experience also helped my stay. As a vegetarian, this is as good as any Marriott could offer. While in St.louis, I was hosted and taken care very well. Budweiser brewery experience, the Arch and Anheuser Busch stadium for a baseball game and a good Indian cuisine were the highlights of my visit. I hope you have a good one too. Happy and safe travels.
