The room was ok. The walkway connection to Barnes so you don't have to go outside is really, really nice in the winter. I think this walkway convenience is automatically generating business for the hotel and has made the staff complacent in regards to customer service. If you go there, do not expect friendly, helpful customer service. We were turned off so much by this, we will consider somewhere else in the future.

I'd been excited to book staying here, since when I stayed back in March 2019 the internet was flawless. Now I'm staying here for ten days and the internet ping (response speed) is terrible, severely spiking every other second, and packet losses every five to ten seconds. Granted, throughput (data per second) is okay so watching youtube etc should be fine but huge disappointment for me personally since my evening entertainment after work relies on acceptable ping. I ran some diagnostics (traceroute) and the problem is at the router/modem level. I suppose they have never rebooted either of those to let the firmware updates from the internet service providers get processed and any cache errors to clear. Guess I'll talk to the desk tomorrow to see if they'll be amenable to rebooting or calling a their ISP for remote reboot, but seeing as that the reboot will introduce a couple minutes of internet downtime I think they'll be loathe to do it.

Hello: The internet has right now and is being worked on by the vendor. It’s not the internet but the wifi signal going into the guest areas. There is some type of radio interference that is causing the problem. This started a little over a week ago and the vendor is trying to figure out how to get rid of the interference. This is expected to be resolved soon. Thank you for staying at the Parkway Hotel.

We used the Parkway Hotel as our hotel for wedding guests. We also got ready here (bridesmaids and bride) in one of the VIP suites. The room was beautiful and looked great in getting ready photos. It was large and had plenty of room for us to get ready in. My husband and I stayed there also the night of the wedding and were very comfortable. We took advantage of the hotel shuttle as our wedding venue is in the neighborhood. I signed up months before with a time to take us to the venue but I was able to change this as time got closer. The staff was very helpful. I emailed with the sales manager quite a bit leading up and she was very responsive and answered all of my questions. It was very convenient and easy to use. We would use the Parkway Hotel again!

Our shuttle service is always enjoyed by our wedding groups and works o out great as long as they schedule this with our sales manager in advance. The Parkway Hotel is so close to many wedding venues which makes our hotel the perfect hotel selection. During your stay, we had already completed a full renovation of our guest rooms that now have a beautiful upscale look. We are now working on a new lobby and coming soon a new breakfast menu. I stayed here for two nights for business. My company travel agency paid for the room through Expedia ahead of time. Upon check-in, the front desk clerk told me the company card was now declined and I would need to pay on a different card. The clerk charged the room to my personal credit card so I could check in, then he was told by his coworker that this wasn’t correct and that the room was prepaid. The reservation also showed two rooms when I was only needing one. The clerk told me that was no problem and they could cancel one. After I checked out, I was contacted by the travel agency as the hotel staff was telling them the second room had been used and they couldn’t provide a refund. All of this was ultimately sorted out, but what a hassle this was both before and after check in. Front desk staff could benefit from additional training. The room itself was okay, though it was not very clean. The shower floor was very dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Not a great experience. Can’t say I would recommend this hotel.

We spent 3 nights while celebrating Thanksgiving with family nearby. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Nice updated rooms with comfortable mattresses and plush towels. We were in room 514, at the end of the hall. Nice and quiet. The hotel staff was personable and professional. Our room, the breakfast area, and the hotel itself was very clean. Why it didn't get 5 stars is - We were notified in advance that housekeeping would be just refresh towels and trash removal on Thanksgiving day due to giving their employees time for their families, That is a great idea and we were fine with that, but it never happened as we didn't get out of the room until about 9:30 AM. That is ok, but housekeeping never showed up the next day either. We had two room keys that needed multiple reprogramming, and the card to get in the parking garage had to be replaced twice. Breakfast was OK. I've had better industrialized scrambled eggs at other hotels. I will stay again, and hope for a five star experience next time! P.S. I only heard an ambulance once during my stay and it was late afternoon. Never interrupted my night time sleep.
