We were in the area for a business engagement. The lady that booked us to entertain at the Orlando Gardens also booked us each a room at the B&B. The whole property was pristine and decorated in rustic elegance. After a 4 hour drive and a day of preparations and performing we turned in for the night. The rooms were all themed and very cozy! I could not have asked for a better place to lay my head after such a long day. Last but not least was the breakfast. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The food was over the top!!!! Even though we were there for business....it felt like a vacation and a break from it all. I will have to come back for some leisure time with my family. Again, thank you.

The lodge is definitely a different overnight experience than you average hotel. It had that homey Bed 'n Breakfast feel but with more rooms. We arrived about 4:15pm as the staff all leave at 5pm and we needed to get our room key and entry key. We were provided an info sheet and a point toward our Mississippi room. The room was very cozy with LOTS of Mississippi River boat decoration. Not a lot of places to put our stuff though and the tiniest corner bathroom with a toilet and tub/shower. The doors were like louver French doors that didn't shut too well and the light/fan was very loud. The sink was in the main room. The shower head needs replacing and faucet reattached better to the wall. The room was warm but we didn't find the controls until our packing up to leave. It was

I was in St. Louis from Saturday to Sunday for work and decided to stay at the Lodge at Grant's Trail rather than a hotel. I chose the Christmas room because it's my favorite holiday and I thought it would help me feel cheerier about being away from home over an entire weekend. I was right. The lodge felt like the home of a good friend and my room was cozy and comfortable. It's the only accessible room at the Lodge and has the largest bathroom. The gas fireplace is a lovely touch. I received a lovely welcome basket with wine, cheese and crackers upon my arrival- nice touch! The Sunday brunch was delicious- I had waffles and eggs. The staff, especially Kevin, was friendly and kind. Kevin asked what time I'd be down on Monday, and had my place set and ready for me so I could get
