It was one of the nicest B and B's we have ever stayed in. Matthew, our host, was awesome as was the hostess at breakfast. Matthew brought us so many snacks, cheese, crackers, cookies, drinks that we did not have to go out for supper our 1st night. Bed was comfortable, very quiet even though we were close to interstate....

Pros: different and cute place. The manager was nice and helpful but I don't know if he liked small children being there. Cons: rooms were very small, bath was super small No where to sit down in the rooms There was a party in the dining room so we were told to stay away from the main area when we...

A beautifully if not a bit over the top decorated lodge located just off Interstate 55 seven miles south of downtown. Our room was a bit small and had too many decorations that prevented us from really unpacking. There was no desk, chair, closet and room to spread out was a premium. The room itself was charming and the bed...

We stayed one night. Room was small and had to get a chair from the office so we would have two. The Lodge is right next to the 55 Freeway with much noise. Bathroom space was limited. Breakfast was just Continental with not much variety. Another customer and I had to rummage around the kitchen to make coffee in the...

Visitors to St. Louis might want to try this Hotel/Lodge for a unique experience. The Hotel is situated away from downtown St. Louis, so you will need a car to explore the sights of St. Louis. However, this hotel is both interesting in decor and the service is wonderful. But the most interesting thing is that at about 5:00 PM...

Our local chamber held a meeting here and it reminded me how special this small b & b is. I often refer family to this remarkable place with a very yummy Sunday chicken dinner . Coupled with a trip to grants farm and the civil war museum at Jefferson barracks it is a unique and historical view of St. Louis

We stayed in the Rockridge (think fishing) Room. We enjoyed the night, the only ones renting a room on a Friday night! We had the place to ourselves. Kinda spooky. :) Everything worked out well. Breakfast was downstairs, someone came in to make us breakfast! There was cereal, milk, juice, toast, jelly, muffins, bagels, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and coffee....

We discovered the day we were to check in that there are no staff at the lodge after around 2pm unless there is an event. The lodge was fabulous and we wandered around alone until the 1 other couple staying checked in. The nonsuite rooms are pretty small but we kept our door propped open until going to bed which...

We were rare customers by staying a week. Could not have been more comfortable with Grandparents in Alaska Room and Son and 2 girls in Fishing Room next door. No refrigerator in rooms but full use of kitchen downstairs. Clark, the Manager/Everything was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us have a delightful time. This place is...
