The Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch has earned accolades for its cleanliness and the comfort of its well-appointed rooms, with many guests enjoying the views. Its prime location is a highlight, providing easy access to nearby attractions. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness contribute to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere, although some guests feel the value is lessened by steep parking and room rates. Despite this, the complimentary breakfast and evening snacks are popular perks, as is the terrace with its pleasant views.

This is a great downtown hotel converted from 3 historic buildings. It has the usual Drury amenities, cleanliness, and helpful service. It is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Gateway Arch NP. Our room was in the building that had formerly been the International Fur Exchange. The lobby and rooms are beautiful, the fitness room is very good, and the garage is very convenient.

This hotel is at a great location right by the Arch, and within a walking distance or short drive to all St. Louis attractions. We went on a spontaneous road trip with my two boys (9 and 14) and my mom and stayed 4 nights. As I was searching for a place to stay, great reviews of this hotel got my attention, and they didn't disappoint. The manager and all staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and as my mom noted "treated everyone as if they were family". This was our first time in the city and at this hotel, and Robyn, the manager, who was checking us in, was so kind to upgrade us to a room with a partial view of the arch and the river at no additional charge. It was amazing to wake up to that view every morning. It certainly set the mood and made for a memorable stay! Georgiana, another girl, at the front desk, always made sure my mom had the kind of tea she liked, and helped us with other special requests, making our stay pleasant and comfortable. The outdoor deck next to the pool on the 8th floor is lovely, and we enjoyed the view from there almost every day/evening. The boys loved the pool and the two hot tubs. Complimentary buffet breakfast 6-9am and complimentary kickback buffet meal they call "snack" from 5:30-7pm saved us $$ we would have spent eating out so we could see more attractions. During the time we stayed, there was plenty of parking in the garage adjacent to the hotel. The ramp to the garage is a little steep but as long as you are careful going in and out it works fine. Staying at Drury Plaza during our visit to St. Louis was a perfect combination of exploration and relaxation that we were looking for, and quite affordable. Complimentary evening drinks added a nice touch and were a pleasant bonus that I haven't encountered at other hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will look forward to staying there again next time I am in St. Louis.

My family of 5 recently stayed in a suite for a few days at the Drury. The location is amazing as it is right next to the arch. The parking garage is located in the basement of the hotel and is only $22 per night with unlimited in/out. The parking garage is VERY tight and if it hadn't been nearly empty when we arrived and left, it would've been difficult to navigate through and park.
We took advantage of the breakfast and 5:30 kick-back each day. The lobby gets extremely busy with sometimes very long lines, but the staff is a well oiled machine and the line moves quickly. The breakfast is the same each day (scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cereal, yogurt, and fruit). We liked that they would box up the breakfast for us so that we could bring it back up to the room as it was often difficult to find an open table.
As a heads up, due to Covid, housekeeping will only come and clean the room every 7 days. However, if you call the front desk for towels, garbage pick-up, etc., they will happily come and help.
Every staff member we encountered was amazing! They were not only polite, but asked about your day and often gave tips or suggestions on where to go. They were by far the most amazing staff I have ever encountered at a hotel!
The only downside of our trip was that the pool was always extremely busy and we did not feel comfortable taking our kids there, so they were disappointed about that, but there is not much that the hotel can really do about that. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

I just spent three nights at the Drury Plaza at the Arch in St. Louis. What a great hotel! Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well-equipped. I particularly liked the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers mounted right on the wall of the shower. Breakfast was included, of course, and there were many options available. About the only thing I didn't see was bacon! There were scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereal, bagels, Danish, and Belgian waffles. Beverages included coffee, milk, and several juices. Another included perk in the Drury chain of hotels is the Kickback, served from 5:30 to 7:00 each night. It is a small buffet with a menu that seems to alternate. I enjoyed chicken strips, pulled pork sliders, and chicken tenders with baked potatoes and mixed vegetables. Other options included salad, nachos and cheese, soup or chili, and hot dogs. And each night you get three alcoholic beverages. I definitely enjoyed my Tequila Sunrises!

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to visit the Gateway Arch as it is quickly reached after a short walk around the corner. Next to the Arch is the Old Cathedral where I enjoyed attending Sunday Mass. Busch Stadium is also within walking distance if a Cardinals game or stadium tour is on your list of things to do.

There is parking available for $22 per night in the attached garage. To enter the garage one must use the room key. A room key is also needed to enter the parking garage elevator area, so one does feel pretty safe.

This will be my hotel choice for any future trips to St. Louis.

what a wonderful hotel for a first time visitor to this great city. the hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area right next to the capital building and the arch. (there is no closer hotel to the arch) you are within walking distance to almost everything, the arch, the ballpark, the river, shops, restaurants, and other attractions. like all downtown hotels they do charge for parking $25 per day at time of this review.
when we arrived , we pulled up front to check in , then pulled around the side to enter the parking garage (only accessible with room card) Note to those traveling with suv or large vehicles, most of the parking stalls are rather small ok for compact cars but a tight fit for anything else. we found corner spots or other more to our liking . The nice thing is after using your room card to enter the doors, the elevators go directly to the rooms.
the room we had was a double queen, that had a small fridge and microwave. with a partial view of the arch. ( no rooms have a full view) because of the building in front of the hotel. the size was standard, water pressure was good, bed was comfortable. the lobby has an interesting water feature with statues of wildlife and frontier figures that's nice to look at.
the pool and Hot tubs are located on the 8th floor indoors that also has an outdoor patio observation deck. again does not have a full view of the arch but a nice view of the capital building. worth a look see. did not use the pool but did spend some time in the hot tub 2 of the 3 nights we were there. was nice that they had two to use . also had lots of towels and public rest rooms.
the biggest perk to this property IMO is the free breakfast buffet, and kick back they offer . the b-fast was the same all 3 days , scrambled eggs, briskets and gravy, sausage patties, pancakes, and waffles. with the other dry offerings limited fruit, and the like. The kick back evening event included not only the standard popcorn, pretzles, and corn chips, but every night there was something to eat such as pulled pork, pasta, hot dogs, soup, salad , and more. You could make a whole meal out of it. On top of that you were given up to 3 free mixed drinks per person per night. (did not use, I dont drink). In the area there was a soda dispenser with coke products available 24/7 to all hotel guest. considering this hotel offers both breakfast and dinner to its guest it makes for a real great bargain especially for familys.
we found all the employees to be helpful and polite. I thought all of them did a good job at making our stay enjoyable.

P. S. ask the front desk personnel for a city book. (free) that has a map and coupons for city attractions, restaurants , and other.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Our family of 5 came for a quick weekend getaway and were blown away by this place. The staff at the hotel really shine. Management is always around and go out of there way to help. One morning we came down too late for breakfast but they went and made huge plates of food for our family. Another time the manager heard our daughter mentioned she wanted an apple so they went in the back and got one for her. When we checked in the only room they had left had an interior view so they comped our parking fees. The pool and hot tub were fun for the kids and I appreciated that it was not very deep. We walked to the arch which is very close and ate at the attached restaurant which was very good. The room was quiet and spacious. Everything was in good working order and very comfortable. There is a nightly happy hour with free cocktails and a spread of food that is enough for dinner. There is a soda machine and popcorn machine for the kids to enjoy. The lobby is very attractive and has neat statues. We are already planning a return trip!

The Drury hotel in St. Louis was our last scheduled stop in our road trip, and it left us a great last impression. The hotel gave us complimentary (early) dinner and 3 alcoholic drinks, the check-in and parking was easy, the location by the Arch made it easy for us to enjoy our tram ride and enjoying the sunset. The best is the rooftop experience where we can view the Arch on one side and the city on the other side. We had wine in our hands, the cool breeze and the comfortable lounge chair. This was our first trip to STL and the Drury made it a memorable one. We would seek out Drury brand hotels in the future.

Stayed at the Drury Inn in July because St. Louis was a convenient place to meet a friend who was helping me transport my dog from TX to NJ. Selected the hotel because of its location, right next to the Arch so super convenient for some quick sightseeing and dog walking in the park, the building's history, the hotel's amenities, which did not disappoint, and the very reasonable fee for having my dog stay with me. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, the "happy hour" and breakfast were great (somebody serves you, no more self-serve) and parking very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Thank you Drury Inn for a great stay.

The Drury Plaza at the Arch is one of the best hotels to stay at if you want to do activities in the downtown St. Louis area. It is literally steps from the entrance to the Gateway Arch, across the street from the Old Court House, and one block away from Busch stadium.
The hotel is a largish establishment, that comes with it's own parking garage, but you have to pay $22 to park there.
The weekend we stayed there the hotel was filled to capacity. And although the staff at the hotel were doing as much as they could to mitigate the problems with having a large crowd of people in the common areas of the hotel, it made us very uncomfortable considering the COVID19 situation.
There is the usual hot breakfast that Drury offers as well as the 5.30 pm kickback of eats and drinks which is still going strong. But now they were offering the guests the option of boxing their eatables from the served buffet to eat in their room. We used this option through out our stay.
Our double queen room was quite comfortable and had a downtown view. But on the second night of our stay I discovered some very odd looking stains on the extra blanket that I had asked for.
And keep in mind that there are no coffee makers placed in the rooms. You had to make a trip downstairs to the reception desk to ask for one which was a bummer.
The indoor pool and hot tub were a welcome amenity, but we could not use it as it was perpetually at full capacity. The staff there asked us to leave our phone number with them and told us that they would call us as soon as some spots opened up. The call never came inspite of again going up to the pool to check. I had enquired earlier at the front desk if we could reserve a time slot to use the pool, but was told that it would be on a first come first served basis. I feel this aspect could have been managed better, as we had to deal with our son who was upset at not being able to use the pool inspite of waiting all afternoon and evening. Well that was a minor glitch in the larger scheme of things, but I thought I should mention it here.
I am a loyal Drury customer and this stay experience with the overcrowding in the common areas and pool has not negatively influenced me. I will still stay at their properties in the future.

This hotel is brilliantly situated although we did have some problems in getting to the hotel due to road closures which our navigation device decided to return to time and time again. The breakfast was buffet style and more than adequate, the rooms were spotlessly clean, coffee is available all day, the evening snack buffet was particularly good together with the included 3 drinks between 5.30pm and 7pm. The only drawback was that our 7th floor room had a road in front and obviously a favourite during the night which disturbed our sleep. Without the noise this deserves 5 stars.
