We really enjoyed our whole experience. Cassie was very helpful over the phone and on site, ensuring we got the type of room I requested, and also personally checking it prior to our arrival and leaving a birthday bag for my wife. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The view of the arch, river, and city was exceptional, and the room was clean and spacious. Easy walking distance to the arch and riverfront, good breakfast on site in with a very nice area to eat it in (as well as the 5:30 "kickback" the afternoon we arrived with a surprising variety of food and drinks free of charge). Also, Carmine's, an excellent restaurant, in the same building. We would definitely stay here again

Hotel's Favorite
So this is a solid 3.5 star hotel relative to amenities. It has a very good free breakfast and even has free food at happy hour such as nachos, hot dogs, etc. There are THREE free drinks included per person per night at the happy hour bar. The liquor quality is very good. I stay at a variety of properties and I can say that the service here would be equivalent to staying at a Ritz Carlton (except maybe that no one actually called me by name, which is what they are known for at the Ritz). But its very very clear they go out of their way to address guests every time they see them - from the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the servers in the lobby restaurant. I can absolutely see why this hotel chain is consistently ranked very high with guest satisfaction. They clearly put a premium on this and it is nice to see. The cleanliness of the rooms is great. The same is true for the lobby and elevators. No complaints at all. Very clean. If I was coming to St. Louis for a "romantic" couples trip, would I stay here? Honestly, probably not. I would splurge for the Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton in Clayton because you are probably in the room more often, looking for a spa, etc. But that isn't a knock against Drury at all...its two totally different clientele/goals. However, for any other type of trip, I absolutely would recommend this hotel. The service is clearly what puts them over the top. They are also very near the ballpark and right next to the Arch, which is great. Its 3.5 star pricing with 5 star service. Well done!

I'm not one to write winded reviews, but this place was a game-changer for me. We've been many places recently where they just provided an OK stay. This was top-notch the whole way. My wife even remarked at how friendly all of the staff was and how welcomed we felt. It's been a very long time since I've been treated with such hospitality and warmth. Looking forward to staying here again and again!

We decided at the last minute to head to St. Louis for a Thanksgiving weekend. I called to book our stay. And upon arrival give them my name and my reservation was already to go. Our room was clean and we could see the arch from our window. The hotel provided breakfast and dinner and drinks in the evening. I didn’t know this was a thing so it was really exciting. The food is better than typical hotel food and perfect for our family because we have two tiny picky eaters. The staff was very pleasant to be around and super helpful. We will definitely stay here again

My husband and I wanted to see the Gateway Arch so we made a stop there and found the Drury a short walking distance to the Arch. The evening cocktails and food was great because we didn't need to go anywhere which was very relaxing. In the morning they serve a hot breakfast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely would stay here again.
