Staff was wonderful! The thermostat in the room was weird and very limiting which made for an unstable temperature. We stayed on the Grand Blvd. side of the building on the 5th floor where I could hear a cross walk beeping all night when the air wasn't running. The thermostat didn't allow us to run the fan all night which made for a disruptive sleeping experience. The vibe of the room and hotel was fun and the bathroom was amazing! We did feel the escape from reality we desired and there were fun things to do around the hotel.
The room was very clean and pleasant. The staff was very helpful and personable. I would be careful of surrounding areas, especially on Grand because this is not an area you’d want to take a casual stroll in. The parking situation was a bit weird, but the staff were friendly and helpful with the process.
I was stopping in St. Louis on a cross-country drive and needed to find a place to stay the night last minute. I got on booking.com and found this place for $89/night and booked 2 hours before my arrival. The decor is so cool, it felt like I was staying in an art gallery. I got a red room and everything was red! Walls, ceiling, furniture. If that isn't your vibe you should probably stay at a Best Western or something. Everything was super clean and looked new and in excellent condition. When I arrived in my room there was an umbrella on the desk which was very thoughtful because it was rainy that weekend. They also provide an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Very nice shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They don't have a parking garage but they do have a free parking lot right next to the building that you need a pass to get in and out of. The only points of improvement are as follows, which are very minor: towels weren't very soft, no microwave (but they did have a mini-fridge) and there isn't a complimentary breakfast. But I can't really complain for $89/night in the city!…
The room was awesome, clean and a good size. The tub was awesome and a great way to unwind after exploring the city. Location was convenient and great parking, Get the room with the tub in it - you wont regret it! Will be back we had a lovely visit.
I stayed here as a solo “staycation” and my expectations were exceeded. During Covid- I was given the utmost in stellar customer service, attentive staff, and a tranquil environment to relax and unwind from the pressures of life. I chose a red room simply because I like the color and it was perfect. The lighting in the room is soft and invites relaxation. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Oh and they have premium cable!
