I loved, loved, loved this hotel! The people are so friendly. Loved the rooms and the windows. Loved the coffee and tea bar and the free breakfast is awesome. I couldn't have payed for a better one. The hotel is so English beautiful. The parking garage is safe and convenient. We stayed here 3 days while my Mother was in...

Hotel was very nice with bikes loaned foc which was fantastic. We asked for allergy free pillows which they kept saying they cant guarantee they can find and we made a fuss as my sister is allergic to feathers. They then turned up 5 nins later with some non feather pillows. The breakfast nook was not very comfortable however the...

Thank you for sharing your experience! I am happy to hear you enjoyed our bikes and location. I am sorry we did not do better when you requested a feather free pillow, it can take a while to track down when we have a sold out hotel. Next time you stay with us please feel free to call ahead and...

The Cheshire is an interesting hotel. It is a themed hotel and verges on the cheesy side. However, the rooms were clean, well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. The issues I had were the beds were so high my 6 year old couldn't climb in or out and he's tall for his age. The lobby bordered on scary for my...

The rooms feel old and outdated. The windows are thin and you can hear every noise from outside. The AC/heat makes the loudest noise that sounds like a machine (not normal air blowing). I found 2 hairs in my shower when I arrived and a hair ball on the non-wrapped slippers provided. There was a gross stain on my comforter....

My husband took me to the Cheshire in Clayton for my 50th birthday because he knows I love boutique hotels. The Cheshire has an English theme and every room or suite has an English author theme, including a book by that author in the room. The rooms were very comfortable (possible exception of the pedestal on the bed which had...

Everything was tremendous. Rooms were very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the service was outstanding. We blocked 14 rooms at the hotel, and each couldn't have been better. We ate at The Restaurant twice, and the food was delicious and at a reasonable price.

Although I arrived much later in the evening than I assume most guests would, and was only there for one night on business, I found The Cheshire to have an elegant and charming atmosphere. There were numerous amenities that made me feel less like I was on a business trip and more like I was actually on vacation. An Old...

This is a really cool alternative to big vanilla hotel chains. I stayed for one night on business since my destination meeting was close by and will be a regular guest any time I'm visiting St. Louis. I love that each room is themed for a different author (I should have ordered ahead for Jane Austin!). The property is well...

We recently stayed at the lovely Cheshire in St. Louis while motoring down Route 66. We arrived after dark in the pouring rain, but were greeted with a cheerful welcome and told we were "guest-of-the-day" and we would get a free upgrade! Wow, what a way to start! So we enjoyed the very large and well-appointed Death on the Nile...

My husband and I got a room at the Cheshire for our 5 year anniversary. They always had the cheshires signature pearl and spices candle lit in the lobby.
