Pleasantly surprised with an unexpected loyalty upgrade to a suite. The rooms are very nice. We valet parked and Robert was very helpful in getting us into our rooms. There are walkable restaurants and attractions near the hotel.

Our stay was cancelled without allowing me to respond and secure the reservation with a different form of payment (corporate card was not working when they cancelled reservation). They were unable to honor our reservation and gave me quite the run-around. Were rude (especially a sales associate named Amanda) and then rebooked our group at a place two miles away from downtown and said we would need to figure out how to get our group to downtown on our own during our stay. Really, really bad service.

First time in St. Louis, visiting our daughter. Our room was dark, bleak, and never saw daylight. I guess here was a view, of the back side of a parking garage 5 feet outside our window. Nominally there was lobby and bar, but nobody in them, so it is pretty clear nobody was supposed to use either of them. If you want a drink, thy made it pretty clear you are supposed to go somewhere else. This isn't really hospitality.

This hotel is a perfect stay for a weekend getaway. It has an historic charm to it and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The charm continues into the restaurant, as well! My wife and I had a simple problem with our television not working. After sending someone to try to fix it and not being able to, we were given a new room. This is perfect customer service in every sense of the word and I appreciate Isaac’s efforts to make our stay more enjoyable! This is a wonderful hotel in a great setting in downtown St. Louis which is close to all the major attractions.

I don’t normally take time to write a review when the experience was what it should have been for the money paid. So I only take the time to write them if something was above and beyond or below average. My experience at The Magnolia Hotel was above and beyond, and here’s why. My dad and I, along with my dog, stopped at the Magnolia Hotel for one night on our way to Arkansas. We arrived in the early evening, checked in and enjoyed the bar for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks before calling it a night. We got up in the morning, had breakfast and headed out on the next leg of our drive. I have to say, from arrival to departure our experience was top notch. Every single employee went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable - from valet, to front desk, to bartender and bar manager to the lovely woman who took care of us at breakfast. When we came down in the morning we wanted to grab breakfast quick and asked them if we could leave our luggage at the front desk. After of course saying yes Moe, who handled valet said “Do you have a car we can bring around?” And then Jason, the other young man was intuitive enough to say, “Would it make it easier if we killed two birds with one stone? We can pull your car around and load it for you while you’re at breakfast.” I was just blown away by that attention to detail. I travel a lot and always stay in a four or five star hotel. The level of service at The Magnolia matched the service I’m used to and honestly, exceeded it in many cases. On the aesthetic side the hotel itself is a little worn and dated, but nothing terrible. It just needs a little attention and TLC. But the bed? Oh my gosh, maybe one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in - right up there with the Westin Heavenly bed. The food was very good both in the evening and at breakfast. And the prices were quite reasonable as well. Overall it was a great experience, but it was definitely the staff - hands down - that made this stop a highlight.…

I really wanted to like this hotel. However, an elevator wasn't working, so it took a significant amount of time to waiting on the working elevator. Overall, the room seemed very dated and the bed was uncomfortable. Staff were nice.

The Magnolia hotel in St Louis was a great experience. The check-in was easy, the hotel room was nice, and it was in a great location. We went to Robies restaurant/bar and had some really good drinks. They make a great old fashioned. The hotel is right next to a Starbucks, which is awesome. It is also within walking distance to other restaurants, bars, and a Schnucks.

I visited this location to attend a soccer match in the summer of 23. My preferred spot next door was booked due to a convention in town. This location is great and the staff were helpful. I am not the biggest fan of Tribute or Autograph brands, but the place was decent. The bar stayed open late on game days. We were able to walk to a Cardinals game, the soccer stadium, and to the Arch without issue. There's plenty of nearby food and bars to walk to as well. Love the location.

I cannot express my gratitude! From the very moment I stepped into the hotel I felt welcomed. I travel a lot for work, and I can honestly say this is the best service I have ever experienced. The person that checked me in was amazing. The person that served me during breakfast was like a breath of fresh air both mornings. When I arrived back at the end of my day I was greeted with a welcome back and amazing smiles. When I realized the day after I left, I had left that a large amount of cash on the desk my heart sank. When I called to inquire if someone had found it, Xavier was amazingly calm even when I was on the verge of tears, He reassured me that he would do everything he could to try and locate it! His voice was kind and reassuring. He went up to the room I had stayed and found the money I had left even more than I had told him. I received a check in the mail for the money I had left in the room. The entire staff deserves recognition including the financial folks that cut the check and sent it. I wish I could remember the names of all the folks that were just so nice. With deepest appreciation, . The hotel itself is also pretty amazing I will definitely stay again when I am in St Louis!
