Nice place. Clean. Upgraded to a large room with a hot tube. However the jets in the tub did not work. That’s the reason for four stars rather than 5. Breakfast was good. We travel with a puppy and that was fine. Location is convenient. It was a busy place with friendly staff. The decor can’t decide if it is north woods or cowboy. You can decide!
Check in was a pain, the front desk wasn’t there and had to wait 10 minutes. There was a line and one of the guests finally asked the bartender who is manning the front desk and he finally called someone. When she got there she looked annoyed that we are checking in. The room was decent and mostly clean. The desk was sticky and had t9 be wiped off. Kind of gross.
The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms went all out with the western theme but they are very clean. The beds are super comfortable if you like a firmer bed. The breakfast is hot (typical hotel eggs and sausage), but there were some things missing when I went such as milk for the cereal. They do have ample coffee, and that's all the matters isn't it? I have an emotional support dog and they were very supportive of her. The carts to transport my stuff were huge! If you read my other posts this is important since I am traveling across the county and the fewer the trips from the car that I need to make the happier I am. Personally, I loved the room. They overbooked so I had an upgrade to the king bed and hot tub. I didn't really care about either but it was a terrific room. If I had been traveling with a significant other it would have been romantic.…
Nice hotel. Easy to get around to host a convention. No restaurant so had to have food brought in. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to get what ever we needed. Room 160 needs a new mattress as it has bumps where peoples feet have been.
This was a great overnight stop, while passing through town on the 29. Nice rooms, comfy beds, great amenities. Room had a fridge, coffee maker with coffee pods, Aveda shampoo & conditioner. Free, tasty breakfast starting at 6:30am. Walking distance to Denny’s & Applebee’s, gas station nearby, dogs are allowed, pet fee was a bit steep ($25 per dog), but there were no breed restrictions, and there was a grassy area on the north side of the building perfect for walking them. Would definitely stay here again.
We love this hotel. We stay here every time we come to St. Joe. Staff is always friendly, efficient, and accommodating. One of the best breakfasts in any hotel. Rooms are always clean. Pool is great for the kiddos. Will definitely be back next time we are in town
Super clean hotel. Staff is all very nice. Pool area was fantastic. Terrific breakfast! We will be back! We travel again in May and this will be pur stopping point without a doubt. Keep doing exactly what you're doing!
We were happy with Stoney Creek. Room is big and it was clean. Nice tv. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast…be sure to try the pancake machine! The treadmills were not working but scheduled to be fixed in a few days. I felt it was in a safe area and close to our highway for our next days travel. We would recommend.
Three times I’ve stayed at this facility for kids birthday party to be able to use the pool three times there’s been something that went wrong last night when we had a party for kids to be able to swim somebody put feces in your pool well because everybody who’s in the building complain you picked and choose whose rooms got excuse from there the cost and others you told since everybody’s complaining I can only refund $50 do you really think $50 makes up for the 262 I paid to go swimming and then we couldn’t I understand you didn’t put Put the feces in the pool but you are liable for making sure we have a good stay and are able to use the facilities I’m very disappointed in the way this hotel has become I had family from out of town coming to go swimming I guess I should be grateful that you gave me $50 that is nothing considering my grandson‘s birthday was right by not getting to go swim…
We stayed at the St. Joe Stoney Creek overnight for a softball tournament. We arrived at 9pm and left at 6 am so we unfortunately did not get to utilize all of the amenities here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, check-in was fast and easy, lobby, bar and pool areas were all very nice. Will be back when I can spend more time here.
