Stayed at Stoney Creek for a wedding weekend and it was great. Everything you need is on site. Great pool - lots of places to come together and visit including a small bar. Kids loved the pool which goes in and out of building. Would recommend for friends- families or couples
Check-in was late, but gentleman at the desk was very welcoming. Room was clean, bed comfortable and most of all a really nice pillow which can make or break your night's rest and comfort. Check out easy and would certainly stay here again if in the area.
The only outstanding feature of this place is the room prices. It is a noisy establishment with poorly adjusted doors slamming at all hours of the day and night. Oddly, towels and paper products are of the cheapest quality even though paying for top quality accommodations. Rooms are maintained to average levels and nothing outstanding or above average is provided. The front entrance is under construction so there's a long walk from one end of the building to get to reception. Although there is this inconvenience to face, there is no rate reduction for this associated challenges. A money-making operation is to be applauded but this level of value for cost is not acceptable to our travel style and we will not be returning.
We stayed with our soccer team, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the service, and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel had a great atmosphere, be sure to look around or you could miss the decorations. Beds were comfortable, bar staff was friendly. Really cant find much bad to stay. Front desk agent Nathan Clair was very friendly as well as other members of the staff that I didn't get the names of. Everyone was friendly. Thanks for the service, and hope to be back in the future.
A friend of mine and I were meeting in Missouri for a gathering, and based on the internet photos, decided to stay at this facility. We were disappointed. For these prices, we could have stayed in a suite at a Residence Inn. No charming decor for us....our rooms were small, tired and could have been cleaner. We were there for two nights, and the same scrap of paper on the floor when we arrived was there when we left. Perhaps the greatest disappointment was the lack of concern for each guests' enjoyment and safety. When we arrived, members of a football team staying there had taken over the lobby and seating area, and were even lying in the first floor hallway doing exercises, so that guests had to navigate around them. In fairness, the players were very nice and observed a curfew, but staff should have offered them some place other than the hall if they needed to stretch out. The pool area was nice, but there were unsupervised children running around the pool and whirlpool, even in the evening. Then there was the matter of the exterior doors. For reasons beyond my comprehension, after 11 pm, your key will no longer get you in the doors coming off the parking lot or courtyard, so you have to go all the way around to the front entrance. Not good if it's raining, and as it can take you around some isolated areas of the property, it's not exactly safe. When we asked about this policy, the staff told us that they just tell people to prop the doors open! Seriously??? This is a real safety issue, as people were propping the doors open with rocks, and leaving them that way, so that absolutely anyone could enter the hotel. How could that possibly be better than letting actual guests access the building with their keycards? And finally, the courtyard that we were told about when making our reservations was not enclosed, and turned out to be a place where intoxicated guests continued their party into the wee hours of the morning. There were a couple of very nice and efficent staff members, but I was stunned by how little awareness or concern most of the staff exhibited. Guest safety is always priority one. A positive guest is experience is a close second. This hotel missed the mark.…
