This is a charming "Country Victorian" Bed and Breakfast! Very much enjoyed my stay, my comfortable clean room, the wonderful conversation with the hosts and my homemade breakfast each morning. St. James is a wonderful little town and close to Missouri S & T! Make sure to have dinner at Sybil's also in St. James and checkout their gift shop!!

Sandy & Wanda are fantastic! The house is beautiful and decorated with lots of neat antiques and interesting stuff. We stayed in the Melanie room which has a very comfortable king bed, very large bathroom with a jet tub. The room goes out to a large deck that has ample seating and beautiful scenery. We watched the sun set and enjoyed listening to all the sounds of nature. Wanda made a delicious breakfast for us and we enjoyed their conservations. We definitely will return.

Stayed 5 nights attending a wedding and visiting friend/family. My wife found this B&B online and we could not have been more pleased. Wanda and Sandy were wonderful and the breakfasts she cooked were huge and delicious...from fresh fruit to farm fresh eggs, a pile of bacon, cinnamon rolls, muffins, toast...it was incredible. Highly recommend this B&B if you're ever in the St James area. And to top it off, my wife got to see her very first cardinal. We were sitting outside on their sun porch the first morning when Sandy's sister made us a wonder breakfast and my wife got to see about 5 cardinals coming to their bird feeder...It was just an all around pleasant stay.

We have visited twice to this BnB. We live the cottage in the back. It offers nice peaceful tranquility of a BNB but privacy in your own building. Lovely large bed, kitchenett, and huge jetted tub for two. The breakfast can be delivered to you in a basket which makes it the perfect get away from everything touch. Wonderful food great customer service. We plan on visiting again the next time opportunity arises!

We were surprised and delighted by this B&B! Since it is in a small town, we were not expecting something as beautiful and luxurious as this! The downstairs room that we had was nicely appointed. We especially liked the king size bed! The bathroom was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was filling an d delicious. We couldn't have asked for anything better.
