My wife and I stayed here recently while on a business trip to the area. This was actually our second stay here over the years and we have also had relatives visit on our recommendation. This grand old Victorian home is wonderfully decorated in period antiques. The outdoor gardens are also very comforting. Our hosts are most engaging and the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We were met with pop, wine and snacks in our room when we arrived. We sat down and enjoyed some "down" time with friends. The room was a little small but very adequate. There was a jetted tub that was wonderful and a small separate bathroom on the other end of the room Little... More

Seemed to be a good place for the night. It is in the process of being sold and it looks a bit neglected. The innkeeper is lovely, breakfast was good, but for the price of the room, it was not worth it. It is comfortable, bedroom clean and mostly quiet - faces the street. Not one to return to.

A wonderful getaway! Upon arrival, we were immediately made to feel at home. Everything was so elegant, but at the same time cozy. The decor through out the home was amazing. Every time we entered a room, something else caught our eye. Beautifully kept! Very clean. John was very quick to offer a hand in anything needed. Ruth could not... More

We've stayed here 3 times now and in each of the 3 rooms. It is like staying in a museum, it is absolutely beautiful. Ruth the Inn Keeper is like family and you will find her to be very professional and friendly. Her breakfast is served hot, fresh and you will get plenty to eat. One time we stayed, we... More

My wife and I stayed here as we had been given a gift certificate to the Raines the previous Christmas. We used our two nights here as a working retreat, so we stayed in the house all day long. It was a great stay. Breakfast was amazing. We had the whole house to ourselves so that was cool. We stayed... More

We had a wonderful two night say at Raines Victorian Inn. Ruth is very hospitable and a wonderful cook. Her house is very clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast food. She gave us our privacy but was also very willing to talk to us when we asked questions about her home and the area. She suggested some... More

We were looking to bike on the Katy Trail and visit some wineries, so this bed & breakfast was a good location for us. We have stayed at many B&Bs, and would say that Raines Victorian Inn is one of the best for several reasons. Ruth is a fabulous inn-keeper, the food she made for breakfast was abundant and extraordinary,... More

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary and had a great time. Ruth is very hospitable and her grandson John is hilarious! Our room (The Lady Emily Suite) was beautiful even with the low ceilings on either side. Ruth is an excellent cook, we both thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts we ate here. We are looking forward... My husband and I stayed at the Inn for 2 mights while biking the Katy Trail. Ruth was a wonderful hostess and we felt welcome. Breakfast was huge and very tasty. The other visitors were friendly and overall we had a great stay. I will note the room we stayed had a private bath vs a bath within the room.... More
