Alline, Kurt, Lucas, and everyone we met at Dancing Rabbit were so kind and accommodating. Home cooking was delicious! And I was really inspired by the way everyone has come together to pioneer this sustainable community. Will definitely be back!

We just experienced a Friends and Family meal of lifetime milepost memory ..... celebrating Saint Patrick's with not just Traditional Corned Beef - cooked to such perfection that those who don't favor this dish were asking for seconds - served with a side Horseradish sauce that inspires humming , sided with carrots , potatoes and cabbage with their identified flavors...

The corned beef and cabbage dinner was fantastic!!! Tried both desserts because it was too hard to choose, both excellent! Definitely coming back! Better than any east coast Irish pub. You could not ask for better service or more friendly hosts.

I felt so nourished the entire time I was eating at the Mercantile! I was there as part of a Permaculture Design Course and eating three meals a day at the Mercantile was included in the course. The breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks we were served were off the charts good, nourishing, nutritious, and so delicious. Meals were always on...

I'd been to Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage as a 3-week visitor in 2014 and had eagerly anticipated a return to the village, this time with my husband. We lucked into an opportunity for a visit 2 years to the day from my previous arrival and made arrangements to stay at the Milkweed Mercantile, known locally as "The Merc". Though we were...

I had a great time at the Milkweed Mercantile! Here are a few facets that stick out as to why it is such a wonderful place to stay. Sustainable education: I came to the Inn during an open house of Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, where I wanted to see sustainable living up close. The Milkweed Mercantile is a great example of...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Merc while visiting my brother at Dancing Rabbit. What a wonderful experience! My mom and I stayed on the downstairs floor in a room with two twin beds. There was a shower room and bathroom across the hall from our room. The room temperature was cool and comfortable even in the heat...

The Inn is wonderfully appointed in every way. It's obvious that considerable thought was given to all aspects of the design and to the way they do business. The layout of the rooms and shared space allows for privacy even as it invites you to get out of your beautiful, spacious room. The shared bathroom layout is the best I've...

My wife, son and I spent a weekend at the Inn which we will treasure. Seeing the Inn alone is worth the visit, as it is interesting from every perspective, both showcasing "green architecture and materials" and iconic country charm. But, there is so much more. From the Innkeepers to the ecovillage community members surrounding the Inn, you will encounter...
