We visit here frequently as its a pleasant motorcycle ride from our home. The mill is no longer in operation but the building now houses an open air bar where you can have a beverage and watch the trout fishing from the deck. We had lunch in the main lodge. The trout filets were huge and very nicely prepared. The... More

My hubs and I are in our early 30s. We visited and stayed in a standard room (RM 101) for 2 nights. Room was great and it had a huge bathroom. I was expecting less and got a surprise. We spent the weekend fishing, hiking, and eating. Tons of fish in different areas of the spring. We were catching the... More

I have to admit we've been coming here for years but, we've never fished, not even once. Food: First, we love the restaurant. Imagine eating trout so fresh you just can't believe it. Because there is a live well in the kitchen, so your trout for your blackened or almondine is literally butchered & cleaned immediately after you place your... More

A great place to get away from it all, for family or for that weekend for two. The restaurant is wonderful. The cabins are just the right size. Trout and game birds are great sport. They will fix your catch for you as well.

Came here for a two night stay with family. Family that has been coming here for OVER forty years - call it a tradition. We stayed in cabin #1 on Ralph's Ridge, and I mention this because we looked at cabin #2 and it wasn't nearly as nice as #1. The only complaint mentionable about the cabin was that nearly... More

We were totally pleased with the accommodations. We stayed in the deluxe room which was spacious, perfectly clean, and had nice linens. There is a covered porch/deck area shared by several rooms. This is in the "boonies" with lovely scenery all around, but there is nothing to do but fish and hike a little. It is quite a long ways... More

I have going to Rockbridge for 30 years. As a Coloradoan, I missed trout fishing and I was not willing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in a state park. Located not far from Ava, Mo, Rockbridge offers great fishing, nice accommodations and wonderful food. They stock good sized rainbows over pound, but there is a chance to get a 5 pounder or... More

Rockbridge is a beautiful place to fish and relax. The river is beautiful and the fishing is almost too good. I caught large trout on anything and everything. I highly recommended for any body. The experienced fisherman will realize what a treat it is to catch these large fish! Also bring beginners because they will be hooked for life!

Rock bridge trout ranch is my meditational nirvana. If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life this is it. Almost no cell reception and no TV. Just a Geourgous setting and great fishing. The people are nice and like family. I go several times a year.

This is a frequent stop for us when we just want to get away for some much needed R&R. Everyone we've introduced to this place falls in love with the staff, the food, the Grist Mill Bar, and the view is outstanding. We've never done anything but fish but I know they also have hiking and hunting in addition to... More
