Dick suggested we use the GPS coordinates rather than the address to navigate to Sandstone B&B - perfect! We spent one night there and were very comfortable in the large and quiet Quebec room. There was a huge bathroom with tub and stand-alone shower, toiletries, and thick, soft towels. A flat screen t.v. and coffee maker were also in the...

Dick & Bev are wonderful hosts, as we were leaving Dick recommended few places to visit on the way, which we did and worthwhile. They made us feel welcome in their home from the moment we arrived until our departure. Their house is very charming farm house. We stayed in the Quebec room, the room was spacious, very clean with...

Stayed 2 nights here August 2016. Location is a lovely older (yet renovated) farm house on a large secluded property. The room was spacious and very clean with a large 4 piece bathroom. The room is air conditioned and includes a tassimo coffee maker. The hosts are very friendly and helpful offering suggestions on local restaurants and other nearby attractions....

We stayed here one night while attending a wedding in the area. We stayed in the Ottawa Room. It was huge air conditioned room with a Queen Bed and Big bathroom that had a shower as well as a Bathtub. We really liked Bev & Dick , the owners, they made you feel like you were home. They made us...

Our GPS refused to accept the address as New Glasgow so we came into town looking for directions. No one had heard of Rose Heath Lane. We asked at the Library and a kind lady found it on the net but in Little Harbour 13 kms away. This was a surprise as we always stay either in town or just...

Bev and Dick were the most gracious of hosts and we spent a lot of time just talking. Our room was large with plenty of storage space and featured a bathroom with both shower and tub. We had the option of choosing our breakfast preferences and it was very good. Nice people, nice house, and reasonably priced for the quality...

We stayed in the Quebec Room. It was large with a roomy ensuite. Everything was very clean. Over a glass of wine Dick and Bev told us the story of this house. They are wonderful folks. We really enjoyed our stay and meeting them.

From start to finish, this was an excellent place to stay. Dick & Bev made the booking easy and staight forward, answered all our questions promptly and in detail. Once we arrived, the place is so picturesque the photos don't really do it justice. Absolutely a gem of a restored 19th centry farmhouse. Big spacious rooms, all the modern amenities...

Often, the pictures in an ad are misleading - for the Sandstone, they understated the quality and the overall experience. The house is 150 years old - but the bathroom, the bedroom, the furnishings as well as the systems were all thoroughly up to date. The house is tastefully decorated and uncluttered, with hosts who obviously loved what they were...

We were very lucky to have stayed in the Sandstone for one night. We're so sorry we couldn't stay longer. We wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviews- this B&B is a rare gem and Bev and Dick are interesting, kind and warm hosts. You immediately feel right at home. Their home is absolutely beautiful and each guest's suite is immaculate....
