Went with family for crappie fishing. Was able to get a boat slip for our boat, which made it very convenient when going out fishing. Also had access to a fish cleaning station. Overall, had a very nice stay. Be aware . . . . there is no trailer parking, so you will have to find a place off of the resort to park your trailer, and this may involve paying fees for that.

What a nice resort! We wanted a social-distanced and quiet week at Osage Beach, but also wanted a view of the lake. The whole condo was so well maintained, living room furniture was so comfortable and the bed was comfortable too. Everything we needed was in the condo, and we loved the electric fireplace!

This is the most convenient and comfortable resort on the lake. Located on the Grand Glaize arm, it's a fairly quick boat ride to get to the quieter part of the Lake. The Resort itself is convenient to all non water activities and restaurants. The staff goes out of their way to help. The main arm of the Lake is only a mile away as well. PB2 is a short distance away for boat lauching and Lakewood has boat slips available.

Not like it used to be. Met the new manager & she was very helpful unloading your car if necessary. She was very active in keeping the docks clean & catching fish to give some guys fishing on the dock. The dock hand was also very helpful & always busy. I have always reviewed this as being the cleanest condo but times have changed. Don't get me wrong, it was clean but not as good as before. A shortage of cleaning staff was clearly an issue. They charge a resort fee but have taken away some of the amenities. No more hands on activities, but they did add some new lawn games that you can check out. No more pontoon tour of the lake either. If you enjoyed watching The Celebration cruise going out, it is no longer docked in this bay. For first timers be aware that there are many stairs to deal with! Also there is no longer parking for your boat trailer. We had to pay to put in & out & park it at the state park. It wasn't that bad & more convenient. Although there were some negatives, we would stay again. We h

Overall rooms are cramped and completely outdated. Would not be comfortable for more than 4 adults in the “6person” room. Not up to gold standards of RCI. All of the furniture and appliances are right out of the late 80’s early 90’s playbook.

Nice resort sitting on the water. Pool area, laundry, grounds all well maintained. Kitchen was well supplied. Newer appliances. Living room furniture comfortable for 4 people. Great balcony overlooking water. Resort has boat slips for rent plus a parking for boat trailers. It is a busy resort area. We brought a 16’ fishing boat, but quickly realized that the wakes from all the larger boats made it nearly impossible to navigate the lake or fish until late pm. Our biggest complaint was that the floor of the unit above us squeaked. Every time a person walked, especially in the master bedroom, the floor was really loud. We couldn’t sleep until the people above us stopped walking.

I actually bought a two week condo in 1985 I had one daughter and another newborn. It was a good idea we could use it down at our place or trade through RCI? After 10 years they decided to sell points instead of wees, that meant I had to invest more money for the same resort and room? That year I couldn't trade even my 2 bedroom unit for a unit at my home resort but if I could buy more points I was able to? It's like going to a burger joint ordering a two burger plate but you had to pay more because you didn't pay more money? Once I found out about that I quit paying my fees at my home resort and did not belong to RCI anymore. I did get my money's worth when my two daughters were growing up but we noticed things at not only our own resort but the upkeep at other resorts were going downhill. Plus there weren't as many resorts to trade with. What was great at first was not as good in the future. If you look on Ebay you can see a lot of resorts where you can buy for only $1.00 US? Crazy We did have plans on giving it to our daughters when we were not able to go, plus where you stayed was not close to attractions for the family to enjoy. Beware of what your buying, read the fine print?

We wanted to do a driving vacation this fall (air travel being the hassle it is and our home time share located in AZ with us living in MI) so we chose to go to Lakewood Resort @ Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach and do some fishing. Lakewood is right on the water, so our fishing guide picked us up at their dock-so convenient! We had a great experience. The condo was spacious and clean, with a deck spanning the entire unit and overlooking the water. Not many units were occupied the first week in November, so it was very quiet and peaceful. We were minutes from restaurants, grocery stores and hiking trails at a State Park. The office staff was very friendly and easy to talk to, although we had no issues so we only saw them at check in and check out. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone interested in fall fishing or summer watersports.

Over all it was a great place to stay over all. Definitely more a place to visit if you have a boat as you could see and experience so much more of this beautiful area. The only 2 problems with condo we has was it would never cool off so I didn't sleep well even though the king bed was comfortable all week and that I couldn't get rid of the musty smell in the condo or cigarette smell in the closet where to garbage can is, I sprayed at least twice a day the whole condo with Febreze and with a Clorox lemon disinfectant spray to keep it fresher. Also if your not a spider fan be prepared and aware, I bought a can of raid and sprayed our balcony area and around the front door outside one spider web to the face was enough haha. Also no elevators we took 3 flights of steps with 7 steps each to get to our room 107 the room above us one had 1 flight to go down and the room above that would be 3 flights up of the same. The hot tub was still not being allowed to be used which was disappointing as I 'm not sure why that was.
With that said we would definitely return to this property in the future.

We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. It was clean and ready for us when we checked in. Unit had a full kitchen with dishwasher, spacious closets plus a deck with a table and chairs overlooking the lake. Grounds were kept very clean. Nice clean pool with decent sized pool deck plus a step up "sunning" area. Two separate grilling areas for guests, one had only grills but the other had 4 or 5 tables and chairs. Swim dock, fishing dock, small playground area. There are quite a lot of stairs at this resort, but that wasn't a problem for our family. Resort was full but very quiet, there weren't any loud guests thankfully. Overall we were very pleased with our stay here!

There was a game room with pool table and things. Great scenery by the water. Not a lot for kids to do there though. Might have been better if a warmer time.
Greetings Jo, the prices for rentals vary by unit and season. The best bet would be to call them or check their website for availability. lakewoodresort. com
We used our Bluegreen points for our stay as they partner with RCI. So we didn't actually have a monetary expense.
There are more places to choose from in the Osage Beach area.
