Wow! Our room looked out on a tributary to the Fraser River while Mount Robson rose in the background. Just wow! We slept peacefully to the sound of the raging river. Claudia and Curtis were warm and gracious hosts. We give this place a solid two thumbs up!
My wife and I stayed at Mt. Robson for a few days and had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful spot. The hosts Claudia and Curtis are truly wonderful people, the amenities of the lodge are very comfortable and the overall experience was so great we stayed another night! I would recommend this place to anyone and I would love to come back. The views from the property are the best in the area without a doubt. Thanks again.
We stayed for one night only on our way back to Calgary from the Yukon, in the Riverside cabin. As native Calgarians, we were most surprised that we hadn't discovered this accommodation before. Absolutely beautiful --the cabin is so wonderful and well equipped and the views are fantastic. Loved being able to make a fire in the well designed fire ring beside the cabin. Highly recommended!
We booked directly with the hotel and had no issues making the booking. This is a beautiful accommodation right next to Swift Current Creek. The beds were comfortable and the shower had warm water. The view of Mt Robson from the bedroom was breath taking! The balcony in the room was a lovely feature and we had a great time star gazing at night. To wake up to the sound of the gushing river was wonderful. The hosts were warm and welcoming. They remembered us by our first names and that always shows 5 stars on hospitality. There is no tv in the room (not that you would want to waste time doing that rather than spending time close to nature. There is a shared fridge, microwave and toaster. There is no cell phone coverage in this area, and the wifi also goes up and down. However, there is so much to do in this area that you would be grateful that you are away from the worries of the world. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to Jasper and explore Mt Robson area.…
We decided last minute to have a quick getaway for the night. We were greeted to a lovely lodge with a wonderful view of the river and mountains, and shown to our room with its own balcony. The shower had perfect pressure (I may be spending too much of my life in staff accommodation) and the bed was large and super comfortable! I especially enjoyed that there was a step-stool for the bed! After settling in, we made our way down to the deck by the riverside. Another guest was enjoying her book, and let us know of a waterfall just 10 minutes walk up the road. So we headed up to check it out and were not disappointed! Nice and easy walk for an incredible view of Mt Robson. Once back to our room, we watched hummingbirds come and go from the feeder on our balcony before it was too dark to see them anymore. Our short stay was absolutely perfect. We would have loved to try the breakfast, but sadly covid made that impossible. The entire property is very lovingly cared for, and we can not wait to come back!…
Enjoyed the hospitality and views no lack of options Quiet sleeping and great views, I would recommend. Mountain river lodge is delightful close to town yet remote and wooded very beautiful. This is a BC must stay.
We just spent two nights here (Sept 2019) and had a great time exploring the area especially the Berg Trail up to Kinney Lake. The lodge is located just outside the Mt. Robson provincial park and is very convenient for hiking. Claudia prepared incredibly delicious breakfasts. Our room was extremely comfortable and had a view of Mt. Robson when the clouds finally cleared at the end of the day. I highly recommend this B&B and would stay again when in the area.... also as we were leaving after checking out, we saw a young black bear on the edge of the property... we felt so lucky.
We stayed in the Riverside lodge and loved everything. Firstly the hospitality of Curtis and Claudia, the owners, was fantastic. Great tips on things to do if you had no set plans. The Riverside lodge was clean and cosy and had everything you need for a short break. It was conveniently located, within 10 minutes of Mt Robson and some great hikes. Jasper is just an hour away as well. You must try the breakfast, home made pancakes, a great start to our day. Thanks for the carrot cake too.
Location and views are stellar - A1, the pictures do not lie! What sets the Lodge apart are the host and hostess: Very accommodating, helpfull and super breakfasts! We had booked a room in the lodge, but were offered to alternatively stay in the RV outside the Lodge - and what luxury we enjoyed there! Also, we got very helpful input on hikes, restaurants and other local experiences. Great two days at Mount Robson! Thanks!
Very friendly and an excellent room with outstanding views of the mountains and the river. I love that there is a balcony with a patio set so I can enjoy the outside as well as the inside view. So peaceful with the river rushing past. I'd come here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
