A great place to relax, sightsee and learn the fascinating history. Andon Bay Lodge is comfortably well appointed, run by Wayne who really knows how to look after his guests. Make sure you take the optional hire car, it's a bargain and you'll need it to see everything the island has to offer.

We have just returned from a week at Anson Bay lodge. We were met at the airport and shown to our car, When the other people arrived, we followed the Manager out to the Lodge. The road was rather narrow and full of pot holes, but neither bothered us. Our one bedroom cottage was all we could have asked for,...

This was our 2nd stay at Anson Bay Lodge and they proved that they provide continuously well maintained and clean units. The only reason not 5 stars is that it is a way out from Burnt Pine, which is probably unfair of me because that is why it is so peaceful! Being shorter daylight hours at this time of year...

We were met at the airport and taken out to the accommodation in our own car which is part of the accommodation package (don't think for 1 second you won't need a car on Norfolk Island!). These cottages are approx. 8km from Burnt Pine but you drive past lots of interesting places on the way (Anson Bay, Bedrock cafe is...

I purchased a package with flights and 1 week accommodation. We arrived and we're met and followed in the rental away into the country to a farmhouse. We were told when I queried where is the resort. That this is better than what you booked. Well we wanted to be amongst things .if we wanted country farmhouse we can get...

All the conveniences you require are provided, even snorkelling gear, and the rental car is a must for sightseeing and all included. Plus on-call assistance when you find yourself stuck at the bottom of a slippery slope - Thanks to my knights...

It’s not the Hilton but we loved our stay here in this cosy and comfortable house. The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a week’s stay and has just had a fresh coat of paint. We noted the comments regarding the cockies but it looks like the spray programme has kicked in and we didn’t...

We booked our holiday to Norfolk Island through a travel agent. Usually we book our own holidays online but this was a package deal that we decided to take up. We were met at the airport and given our rental car, then followed our guide to Anson Bay Lodge and our 1 bedroom cottage. There were other types of accommodation...

We excitedly boarded our Air New Zealand flight to Norfolk Island on Boxing Day ( Dec 26) from Brisbane. On arrival we were met by Rosalie and taken to our car who we then followed for a short familiarisation trip through Burnt Pine and then onto Anson Bay Lodge. We booked either a 1 bedroom cottage or an apartment (don't remember which) and were told that we would be given the 3 bedroom house since we were staying for 2 weeks. I saw the previous review about the Cockroaches in the house but also saw that these had since been dealt with so put my misgivings aside. On arrival...

It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy the 3 bedroom house. We apologise for your inconvenience, however we thought you would enjoy the extra space for your extended stay. However, we did appreciate you expressing your concerns to us early in your stay so that we could move you to someone more suitable. I only wish we could have...
