Really enjoyed the place, very easy to get comfortable quickly with awesome kitchen supplies and close access to the beach. Wayne and Rosalie took care of us from day one and we felt extremely welcomed into the community.

While this accomodation was at the budget end it was selected for its beautiful secluded location and didn't disappoint......its close to Anson Bay and the beach, the Captain Cook memorial and is quiet and set within a beautiful garden setting

Was an amazing and beautiful place to stay. For the price we paid which also included a rental car was just wonderful. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Wayne for your hospitality and generosity.

Anson Bay Lodge has several cottages and studios in a lovely garden. The studio I was in was modern, clean and the staff I met were so helpful. It was a beautiful location, away from the bustle of the town and really close to Captain Cook Monument. A terrific stay.

Hi , How far is it to the beach for a swim? Is it walking distance ?
Hi. No it is definitely not within walking distance. Emily Bay is the swimming beach and is pretty much on the opposite side of the island from Anson Bay lodge.

My main question is whether it is warm enough to swim in the sea in May. Thanks. Anne
I am not really too sure. I believe the water temperature is about 15degrees at that time of year so I guess it really depends on what you class as warm enough to swim in. Enjoy the island - it is the perfect place to unwind and forget about everything.

"it is close to all places on the island"
"It's a house not a hotel"
"This is a self-contained house with all the utensils you would need. The people who serve the House so helpful as all the people on the Island."
"We didn't need a swimming pool and had swims in the lagoon and a pool. We didn't need a fitness centre we were kept fit enough traveling around site seeing"
"Ball Bay Lodge is stunning - the views and feel of the place especially. So is Di Elduu and Anson Bay Lodge, but Ball Bay is my favorite."
