No complaints about the entire facility. Comfortable double unit with easy access to the restaurant and all facilities. Well worth the stay. Baileys restaurant had good service and a varied menu. Nice pool area but rather cool for swimming in September.

We stopped of for lunch during our stay 6-8-16 - 13-8-16 they offered a $10 lunch. There were 4 in our party one had soup, main and dessert, one had main, two others had main and dessert. 2 beers, 1 water and one wine total $85. Not only were we impressed with the quality of the food and price, the... More

We had 11 nights there in July. Norfolk had lots of shops and dining spots closed in July - we had not anticipated that. Bailey's, the on site restaurant, was also closed for a la carte meals - had a limited set menu for an hour or so - we skipped it. Breakfast finishes around 9ish. So we skipped that... More

We recently stayed in a comfortable cabin at this property. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave and jug but no toaster. Main problem we had was being able to get a table in the restaurant. First night after we arrived late Saturday afternoon we were told they were booked out. They did eventually find a table for us,... More

Six brothers and sisters and their partners stayed at Governor's Lodge in March for a week. Our one room cottages were clean and comfortable, surrounded by lovely gardens. The staff in the Bailey's Restaurant, Mere, Jipa and Vere were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Every day we were greeted with a friendly smile and prompt... More

The unit was immaculate and the service from every single member of staff was impeccable. Thanks so much. It was handy to have not only Baileys Restaurant (which was excellent) but the lovely little snack bar for coffee and nibbles after a day out.

A hire car was very handy to see all the island had to offer - fine Cafes & Restaurants . Our favourite cafe Joel's and restaurant Dino's . We stayed at the Governors Lodge which was great... More

We have just spent a week here in a Deluxe lodge which gives you a spa bath and a verandah. It was so lovely and quiet, and dark at night because of no lights around. You had a little kitchen which is adequate, table and chairs and separate bedroom. All clean and comfortable. Only problem for us was no internet... More
