Driving through the tree-bordered roads to find this lovely B%B with a working farm, being looked after by the friendly hosts Jan and Katrien, it was a pleasure staying for two nights. Our room was clean and spacious (with airconditioning, very appreciated in August) the breakfast was excellent with local cheese, fruits from the garden, fresh pastry and the best coffee I had in a while! (I must know which coffee it was!) There were a few friendly farm cats welcoming visitors as they arrive (mostly from a safe distance). All in all, we wholehearthedly recommend this charming place, decorated with love and respecting all the corrent Covid-19 regulations. We felt very safe at all times.

De Bergvallei is a working farm with 100 cows, some of the outbuildings have been converted to and excellent B&B accomodation. Breakfast is superb with a fined selction of baked good, pattiserie, local meats and cheeses as well as cereals, etc. The location is off the beaten track so GPS is a must and remember Cows do smell

We arrived late 11.45pm, as we were delayed in traffic, we were greeted very warmly despite the hour, and showed to our beautiful spacious room. Which we saw better in the morning, our patio doors had views over their fields. We had excellent breakfast such a variety of breads, eggs & bacon (the owner cooked upon request, her speciality), cheese, yoghurt, cereal, cake and fresh pastries. We walked into Brugge it took just over an hour, lovely walk through the woods. We bought dinner at a local delicatessen on the way back and heated it in their kitchen and used all their facilities, so we relaxed in the evening. We would love to come back again. Lovely hosts too and very clean and tidy.

This place is amazing! While it is a little hard to find the first time, it is located in amongst the fields of the Belgian country side. It is quite and comfortable to stay in! It is only a 15 minute drive from Bruges yet you would never guess you were so close! More so, you can get fresh milk every morning from the very cows you see in the fields around the property! We definitely recommend to people and we will definitely stay again!

Absolutely brilliant place. Lovely host family. Delicious breakfast with homemade yoghurt and cheese from the dairy farm. Comfortable for our family of 5. Toys, trampoline, and carts on the farm for the kids. Not far to Brugge.
