On November 9th we attended a charity gala and loved the Boone Monument Village. We were lucky enough to get to stay the night in one of the cabins. The owner and staff are so incredibly generous and helpful. If you enjoy beautiful spaces, rich in history and surrounded by nature then Boone Monument Village is definitely worth the trip. We can't thank you enough for making an memorable night even more amazing!

My family and I recently attended a wedding at The Boone Monument Village. It was a very beautiful venue with breathtaking scenery, along with true rustic elegance. The owners (husband & wife team) were both onsite during the entire event and were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend Boone Monument Village for anyone who is looking to host a first class event. Zino & Patti Rizzo

My husband and I stumbled on this truly unique place during one of our exploring expeditions. I had to do some digging to find their website but I am so glad I did. Things to know up front: The owners of this historical venue and bed/breakfast have gone to great lengths to make this an accurate representation of the living situations of the 1800's. Some modern conveniences are available, however they did an amazing job concealing them to stay true to history. This little village is a collection of very unique accommodations and historical buildings to view/visit. It's a place that offers options for people who love to camp or "glamp" with minimal modern convenience all the way up to travelers who want indoor plumbing, heating and cooling. It sits about 1/8 mile (1000 feet?) off the Katy Trail. The Daniel Boone Monument and family cemetery sits on the property and is open for viewing. Their website was pretty straightforward, a little quirky, but easy to navigate. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners. Very friendly and accommodating. I booked the Mellein Log Cabin (circa 1860). It was a cold and rainy night, so we were able to stay toasty warm, especially in the feather bed. They helped us celebrate our anniversary with a lovely rose (still in bloom after 2 weeks!) and a bottle of champagne. They took us on a tour of the cabin and the main building on the property. The tour was very enlightening with some great information of the property and buildings as well as the area and what is available to do. After the owners departed, we toured and photographed the property on our own at night. (including the cemetery!) It was quite an experience and we got some amazing night photos. The next morning we enjoyed a lovely European style breakfast with an espresso coffee. HIGHLY recommended!
