What a wonderful find, charming comfortable place. Judy and Ron were like family. Gave us privacy but very attentive. Clean rooms, great access to all the places around town and nearby towns. Can't say enough good things about this place or about Judy and Ron. We were their only one night but ready to go back soon.

My family and I have stayed at Applegate B&B on several occasions. Ron and Judy have always made us feel at home in their very spacious circa. 1818 farm home that has become a Louisiana destination for us. A few years ago they helped us host a 99th birthday party for my father with more than 100 guests. We gathered...

It is a very large (22 rooms), very old (1818) farm house, situated on 60 acres, right at the edge of town. It has a secluded feel, right in the city. The house has a gracious, spacious feel to it. Ron...

“Rooms have small window AC units that may be handy if far off train whistles bother your sleep. I closed the window (didn't need AC that night), and didn't hear a single train.”
