This was THE nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in both in cleanliness and staffing. The staff was exceptionally rude and unresponsive. Bed had stains, window was broken, AC didn't work, complete lack of maintenance, dirty Kleenex on the floor. Yuck!
I felt safe staying here. I could see my car from my window on the first floor. Overall older feeling. Bedsheets had several stains on them. Don't think the heater was working. Breakfast wasn't great, but I appreciated the apple juice, hot tea and yogurts. The hot foods tasted a little weird but okay.
I believe this is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. We spend 40-50 nights a year in hotels for business and kids' sports travel, so we have plenty to compare to. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we immediately noticed how filthy everything was. Upon entering our room, we were so disgusted that we almost left to find another hotel. We decided to stick it out since my son's ball team was staying here, and he didn't want to miss out on the fun. There was blood on one of the comforters, a large yellow stain on the other, splatters of brown liquid on the wall, crusty piles of dust and dog hair in the corners, food that hadn't been vacuumed, etc... Aside from everything being down right dirty, the room was in great need of updating and repair. Peeling paint, terrible shower pressure, toilet wouldn't flush, thermostat would not cool the room down to a comfortable temp. Thank goodness only paid $70. You get what you pay for here. Will certainly not return when we are in town next year for ball! …
Yuk. I’m a Choice Privileges rewards member, but this property had two strikes against it. First, there was blood on the sheets of our bed (see photo-blood spot is right of hotel landline). Next, the closet door would not stay closed because the retention magnet on the door jamb was misaligned. An easy fix, but housekeeping should have corrected both.
For me, the greeting you receive at the front desk when you arrive, says a lot about how your stay is going to go. The woman at the front desk was on her cell phone, when we checked in. She was distracted, and not at all the friendly face we like to see. We had booked two rooms, because we were traveling with another couple, and my husband requested the rooms be together...they were not. Our room was on the first floor and our friends room was on the second. The deodorizer they were using for the lobby was overwhelming, and would definitely be an issue for someone who has a respiratory issue. The lighting in the rooms was very dim, especially in the bathroom, where there were only two lights on the side walls of the mirror. There was mildew in the corner of the shower, and our friends drain was so disgusting, they wouldn't even use the shower. When they complained, there was no cleaning person available until the next morning, so they went without a shower for that day. They were given a $5 refund, which to me was inexcusable. When we got back to the room the next day, their drain was still not clean (it really needed to be replaced), so our friend cleaned it himself. They were given a $20 refund for their trouble. Any good motel would have given them the room free for the night in my opinion. We did not eat breakfast at the motel, because we were not confident that the food would have been handled properly. We usually don't stay in Comfort Inns, and so far our experiences have not been good as a whole.…
