Fort Niangua River Resort was a wonderful place to stay. The lodge we stayed in was gorgeous, and the quietness of the resort was a peaceful place to relax. We also had a lot of fun watching the mud races. The river access too was accommodating.

I wrote the other review "bring earplugs!" After my last stay here. We camped last time, but decided after an entire night of not sleeping thanks to the yahoos across the way partying/fighting/screaming all night... We got a cabin. We made the arrangements and arrived. For starters, they still have this antiquated check in system. Paper to pen work for...

The campground that we stayed at was fantastic. I was most impressed with how clean everything was and that trash cans were readily available. But overall we really had a great time. I highly recommend.

We checked in for the last camping weekend "of the season". We were happy to find campsites with electricity close to the river. We were also happy to find 4 wheeler trails and a mud park on the property, perfect for the Jeep!!!! The staff was friendly and helpful, we had some car troubles. They have cabins and lots of...

I have been visiting Ft. Niangua River Resort for about three years. The staff is always very helpful and friendly when renting our cabin and rafts. The cleanliness of the cabin is always excellent and Sherri is great to work with. Very accommodating.

We stayed at a different cabin, but used them for rafting...they didnt get us on the water till almost 11:00 and forgot all about us to get us off...we didnt get picked up till 10:30 at night!!They were very unorganized...gave us no drop off slips, that might be why we were forgotten!!

I brought my Dad here so he could fish at Bennet Springs for his birthday. Our whole family went and we rented three kitchenettes. The check in process was confusing, slow and dated. The cabins are old, the beds are old and uncomfortable. One of the reasons we picked this "resort" was the pool and it was GREEN. The cabins...

I know you get what you pay for, and camping is best done with an open mind. We planned a float/camping trip on the Niangua River this past weekend. After getting the car loaded and coolers packed we were off. We arrived at the, uh...."resort" before dark on a Friday evening. The check in was a bit confusing and tedious....

There is nothing better than floating down the river in the hot summer sun. Fort Niangua River Resort is the perfect place to stay during a floating trip. It's family friendly and absolutely beautiful.
