We enjoyed our time by the lake with Deb! Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable. A nice place for a quiet retreat. Definitely one of the bets BnB's we've ever stayed in. Fresh baked cookies were a nice touch as well.

We have stayed at the big hotel chains around the lake. With the Covid 19 ourbreak, it is nice to stay at a local B&B where there is only a few people with social distancing. The room is cozy and nice for a couples getaway. I hadn't fished since I was 16 years old and caught fish right off the dock. I suggest you stay at least 2 nights to take in the whole experience. Deb will take care of you like family with her awesome breakfasts. Want to go in a boat fishing, Big Ed will take you! See you at the Lake!

We have stayed here several times and already booked another visit in September. It has become our home away from home. We love everything about this B&B. The food is wonderful, the view is great and we can always relax here.

We like staying at BnBs, so to say that Bass and Baskets is probably the BEST BnB we've ever stayed at says a LOT! The rooms and clean and comfortable, the house is spacious and yet cozy, but what really sends Bass and Baskets over the top is the care and attention of the hostess, Debbie Franko. Besides personally welcoming us, answering questions about the area, and telling us the history of her inn and its decor, Deb went out of her way to make sure our stay was amazing. And one of the most amazing ways she "shows her love" is in the meals and snacks she prepares! Deb's homemade cookies are, in a word, scrumptious, but I think her pièce de résistance are her breakfasts. No one—and I repeat, NO ONE—walks away from Deb's breakfast table hungry or dissatisfied. Every day was a different hot meal featuring both savory and sweet selections. (The stuffed French Toast was an especially tasty dish.) We highly recommend staying at Bass and Baskets, and we are already planning our return trip next spring.

Bass and Baskets is an amazing place to stay for a weekend getaway! The place is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the lake. Deb cooks an amazing breakfast, and is so hospitable. There's always cookies out and the ability to make tea or cocoa. The room was beautiful and the soaker tub was so wonderful. I will reccomend this place to everyone!
