If you want to make your own bed, bring your own dirty towels down to the service desk because they did not clean your room, or just sleep on dirty dingy bedding that is covered in someone else's hair, this is the place your you. The bedding was dirty before I got there. The replacement bedding was dirty. I was told to make my own bed because the maid had gone home. The room was not cleaned and mysteriously had a do not disturb sign hanging on the door. The front desk told me the only way to get new towels is to bring my dirty ones down and swap them out. If I wanted to work at a hotel, I would apply. The manager would not even come to the phone to receive my complaints. I wasn't even going to complain about the dirty bathroom tiles or the layer of dust on the room's furniture. Terrible customer service!

This is literally the worst hotel experience I have EVER had!! From the moment we checked in there were problems. Our room keys didn't work. We had to go back to the lobby and get another set. When we got back, that didn't work either. They called maintenance who spent quite some time fixing the lock. OK fine. We enter the room, there's a bug crawling on my bed. Both beds were covered in hair. They sent someone to change the bedding. That bedding was dirty, no filthy with more hair. Like, do they wash the bedding in hair?? Better yet, do they wash the bedding at all? So they gave us new linen but claimed housekeeping had left (in the 5 min it took for us to notice the sheets and covers were dirty. So we had to make the beds ourselves. The next day, despite requesting at check in for our room to be cleaned, it was not. When we called the front desk, we were told we could bring whatever was dirty to the lobby and get fresh towels and whatever else we needed. WHAT KIND OF RAGGEDY SERVICE IS THAT??! You actually want guests to trample through your "luxury" hotel bringing dirty towels just to get new ones. No made beds or vacuuming, or any other service??? Wow. Oh and the manager refused to speak to us when asked so don't be fooled if they put some type of insincere response on this page. This place sucks. And they wouldn't know luxury if it bit them. Do yourself a favor and just sleep outside. ZERO STARS!!!

I booked a large room for 8 other people. We arrived early and were unable to get our room right away, which wasn't a big deal. Once we were finally able to get into the room it was right away we started having issues. Maintenance did not have to come not once or twice but THREE times to our room. Our first issue was after trying to place a few items into the refrigerator, all of the shelving gave out, spilling food/drinks on the floor and into the fridge. I cleaned this up and called to get this fixed. They were able to come quickly and resolved the issue. Our second phone call went out around 10:00pm for our curtains not working and again they resolved this issue. After looking more closely at the room I noticed the toilet paper holders about falling off of the walls, the bathrooms looked dirty, the flooring that they claim is new is dirty, the walls had some sort of spilled substance in spots, the pull out bed had a large chip in the corner. All of these things ended up being addressed due to how much we paid for the room and what we actually received. At 10:30 we were all trying to go to bed. After pulling the bed out from the couch we saw a large amount of debris on the bed, as if it had never been cleaned. I went to find the bedding and as I pulled the bedding out bugs started flying out. After this we went to customer services and they sent us a maintenance worker and a housekeeper. The maintenance worker was great and helpful. He was trying to be accommodating consider the circumstance and cleaned the pull out bed for us. We ended up helping with making all the beds since we wanted to go to sleep. We didn't end up going to sleep until 12:30am because of the housekeeper that kept leaving our room to find bedding. None of the bedding was clearly changed from whoever stayed before us by all the stains and mess on the beds. Once our bedding was changed we didn't let housekeeping back to our room other than to receive towels since we knew we had clean bedding. When we first arrived to this hotel we were also all followed by one of the workers from the resort. He followed us everywhere for a half hour on multiple floors, bathrooms and elevators. When we brought this to attention to the hotel staff in the main lobby they only said they didn't know much about this person since they only started 2-3 weeks prior to our stay. As we were a bunch of women this left us slightly uneasy. Thankfully we did not see him the rest of the trip. We also had to deal with music being played until 3am next to our hotel room and it was also very loud with a band outside until midnight or 1am. This made it difficult to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The amount we paid for our stay was terrible for what we truly received. I will never stay here again.

Unless you are looking for a frat party atmosphere, I would avoid staying. Lots of noisy bachelor/bachelorette parties with 4+ people to a room. Music blaring from the attached bar until 2 in the morning. A pool party scene that looks all too Covid friendly. Many come to Lake of Ozarks for this kind of scene but if that's not you be forewarned and try to find someplace better.

At 6:30 in the morning, my family and I were woken up when a male in his 40s barged into our room with no shirt, shoes, or id on him. He was clearly on drugs and was carrying a FLASHLIGHT. When entering our room by slamming through our door, he slipped on the tile inside our room and split open his head on the floor. He was bleeding everywhere and foaming from the mouth. He went completely white and we were not sure if he was alive. WE DID NOT KNOW THIS MAN AND WE ARE LUCKY MY FAMILY IS ACTIVE MILITARY AND KNEW HOW TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION. After multiple calls to the front desk, the front desk worker came up about 30 minutes after the stranger had been laying on the floor of our room bleeding from his head. The hotel worker checked him for a heartbeat/pulse and then asked if we wanted him to stay while they wait for the paramedics. WE DID NOT KNOW THIS MAN IN OUR ROOM. Why would they suggest to leave us with this stranger bleeding from the head and foaming from the mouth? When the paramedics finally got there they did not talk to us or ask us any questions about what happen. The man was barely coherent and they took him away. There was no police report and we were told this man was not even a guest at the hotel. We were staying on the 6th floor (top floor) and after reviewing the cameras this man was roaming the halls trying to break into other rooms prior to ours. WHY DID THE HOTEL NOT HAVE ANY SECURITY TO PREVENT NONGUESTS FROM ROAMING THE HOTEL? Apparently non hotel guests can just walk around the hotel at any hour. We were lucky to not have any children with us. This hotel does not care about the safety of their guests and is NOT SAFE for families. DO NOT STAY HERE.
