We were Wowwed! This place is amazing. It has a running feed of the train in the room. The Jacuzzi Suite is no less than something you would find in NYC. Top notch service and courtesy. Kid friendly. Free pool table....we were truly amazed. Thank you for a pleasant stay! Dr. Christopher M. Nickey The Center for Distressed Men in Divorce
What a delightful surprise! We felt so welcomed and blessed by our visit to the Depot Inn! The absolutely beautiful craftsmanship of the lobby, combined with the fascinating decor and memorabilia was even better in person. The owners themselves greeted us and invited us! What wonderful people! I'd never been to this part of Missouri before, but surely would want to visit here again after making their acquaintance. We traveled on the hotel's tram to the train depot and watched a train roll by. It was fascinating! It really was! The view from above the tracks was so much fun to experience. ...Even, kind of romantic! Afterwards we dined at a nearby restaurant that was recommended by our hosts. Delicious! Our room was decorated with details that reminded us of a more elegant era. Beautiful rich colors. Luxurious tile, wood trims and brilliant craftsmanship throughout! Seriously! This is a very uniquely appointed hotel! The king bed was not only a beautiful design, but exceptionally comfortable as well. The shower was perfect too! Even the fluffy towels and soft linens were well beyond our expectations. In the morning we were able to enjoy a lovely complimentary breakfast in the beautiful lobby before we went on our way. We were anxious to get home to Alabama - but felt like we'd made some new friends right here in the middle of our great country. Thank you for making our stay so splendid. PS: we love the train themed wine - and the view of the lovely vineyard behind the hotel too!…
Great people. Clean. I would have liked to have a smoking room. Maybe they could add on later. Could use a few updates but overall a great stay with 4 children and a puppy. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite, a king, and a double queen.
We had a great stay at the Depot Inn. Our room was clean and everything in good working order. The owner was friendly and helpful. The train memorabilia was so interesting and beautifully displayed. I intend to stay here next time I am in the area.
We were on the way to pick our puppy in MO and since it was too late we stopped at Depot Inn $ Suites. Beeing a huge traveler I have never experiences anything like this. we felt like we came to our grandma's home - the most welcoming, warm and pleasant. We had breakfast the next morning - everything was made by the most caring staffer.
