So... we have arrived as a group, for a company weekend. Started out nice - as the hotel itself look nice if you do not look so close on it. 15 rooms booked, and we are being placed all over the hotel - 5 buildings, 2 floors, you name it, we are everywhere. I entered the room, and started checking how clean this 4 star "hotel" is... Check your mirror, doors, table, tv set, light switches - you will find dust everywhere. Under glass table there was gum (or something sticky) stuck to it, no one bothered to remove it in total, before I told them about it. Let's not talk about the wallpaper - I get it, it's cheap, last long, looks nice, but do you know how much dust sets on it? I do. After Intervention, room was cleaned again, and the room was ozonized. Result? We had to wait 1,5 h for all this to be done. No extras offered, no free drink, nothing, just stay somewhere. (best is, we were informed that we can stay inside the room during the whole procedure. I was a bit surprised, as ozon is well, ruining out atmosphere, but what do I know?) Creme de la creme - we were guaranteed the sunbeds on arrival. First evening we were asked to leave the beach and the deck with sunbeds, as those are for the paying guests (extra charge). Next day (just like 2 h ago), after my office manager already spoke with management of the hotel, this situation was supposed to be resolved. My team went to the beach, hoping all is set. Nothing of that matter. 1 hour later, 4 chats with beach support people, chats with 3 different people on reception the sunbeds arrived. Dropped on the side of the beach, and left. Noone bothered to help us set them up. With 33 degree heat, noone bothered to provide us with sunshade (director of sales stated that they don't have a resources to provide us with some sunshades). This is supposed to be 4 star retreat, business center. The staff is extremely unhelpful, and this is not what we expected... Two things that work - the Ukrainian cleaning staff (thank You People), and the air conditioning. One more day left, let's see what happens. oh update: we were kicked out from green area which provided us with some sun coverage, because some supervisor didn't like us sitting there. The sunbeds were literally taken from us.

We spend two short weekends, connected with spa services, one in August and one in October. Both experiences were satisfying, we received each time a nice, spatious room with a large bathroom (shower, bathtub, everything). The room was clean, well maintained, equipped with all that one might need. Our spa experience was great as well (two days of customised massages). Definitely a place I will be going back to, although pricey, that's a fact

Location and the whole space is wonderful and extremely well maintained. Pool and SPA impressive. The only failure was that the restaurants were closed after breakfast till lunchtime. We arrived on Thursday - low season and there was nothing open except Polish food restaurant. a bit too heave food for lunch. Friday Yacht Club opened at noon so that was great. if you don't make it for breakfast till 10 (till 11 on weekends) there is nothing you can have instead. If still in the room you can order room service but if checked out but still in the area, nothing.

Staff friendly but nothing too much impressive which is a pity. Should be ore attentive and polite- especially housekeepers.

What a fantastic hotel this is.

It is not often on a business trip I stay in a hotel and can feel this relaxed in a hotel.

They have quite simply thought of everything here.

The service is very polite and efficient, and check in / out was some of the quickest I've experienced.

The room was of a great size (vs the value), and was very comfortable indeed.

The food was excellent, was of a real high quality.

The spa was also very good, and whilst I did not use the Water Park it looked like a great place to take the children/family.

The gym also had a lot of equipment.

Also considering the number of people who were staying here, the place was nice and quiet with a calming atmosphere.

Putting it simply the only negative I could find was that there was no sign to say "please do not disturb" on my room.

Otherwise this is a great place to stay and you will not be disappointed

I stayed in this hotel during the conference, so I did not have much time to enjoy the benefits of a spa center and nature around the hotel, but they seemed very enjoyable. The complete impression of the accommodations and service at the hotel were more than positive, and I think it is worth visiting again for extended relaxing weekend.

We were invited to celebrate friend's party at the Yacht Club so we decided to stay also in the hotel. The price of the rooms are reasonable and the reservation officer is nice and very accomodating.

During our checkin, just before we paid for the room I made sure that they will be giving us is a connecting room. They even need to check the hotel room layout to confirm if it is connected or not. Apparently, it was not so they have to give us new room and it was in the farthest place in the hotel which is very inconvenient having 2 small kids.

The aquapark is nice and the kids had fun. Though there are times of the day (especially before checkout) that it can be overcrowded.

Next the restaurant, apparently the Maks restaurant closes at 9pm which is not marked properly in their door. When we came in, the servers saw us but it took them a minute or two before they approached us only to tell us that they are already closed and that the only restaurant open is the one outside. So with small kids, we decided have the long walk back to our room and to just have room service. The small kids slept without having dinner since the order took almost an hour to be delivered.

The breakfast was good with enough choices. They have several tables to prevent overcrowding. One minus is the staff not being friendly, there was a time that one of them was already taking my bowl of fruits and I told him I was not done yet. He did not even apologize.

The most disappointing part is the Restauracja Goralska. We came in waiting to be seated. It took sometime before the waiter just made a sign that there is an empty table near him. So we took it waited for someone to get us additional chairs since we are 5 and there is only 4 chairs. We told one server if we can take the table in the middle since it was in a shaded area. She said ok but she first need to clean up the table. We waited for more than 10 minutes (still standing up), some servers passing by as if they do not want to look at us. Then another guest came and took the place that we requested eventhough it has a reserved mark on it (which is already there when we came in). A server even entertained them. Feeling ignored we just decided to leave and went back to the hotel to try again Restaurant Maks

After taking a long walk to restaurant Maks, they only offers buffet and when our kids took a look at they food they are interested. So we ended up having a small snack in the lobby bar. We ended up having a meal somewhere in the area on our way home.

Hotel Warszawianka is a good place for weekend near to Warsaw. There is very good offer for SPA, massages etc. I had a business room class it is OK but there are missing some details in room.
Restaurants in hotel:
Goralska chata - don't go there!. Food is really awful. I was eating some fish with salad. It was totally different than in menu. Vegetables were not fresh and I have moth in my plate (!) Manager didn't even tell sorry to us.
Yacht Club - is closed out of season.
Galeria - Is inside hotel building, in the lobby. Atmosphere is not so good, there are only few tables stright in the lobby. Try eat steak - not so big but good.
Club 77 - its place for kids, with bowling, poll and some table games, nothing special. Guys from bar don't know how to make a drinks.

Pool is a little bit overcrowded in weekends, there are lot of kids, running and screaming. Maybe because there are a lot of people who don't live in hotel.

Really nice place in a really nice area outside of Warsaw- lake just around the corner - but missing good customer service. They are not focus on guest needs. Staff are really stressed so they scared to do more then they should... Old school of customer service. Place incredible anyway. To bed that wasted by managment.

We stayed here during the COVID pandemic (for those reading in the future), although at the time of writing many safety measures have been lessened and travel is now possible around a lot of Europe.

Noting that we were here during the pandemic it was disappointing to note that the soap dispensers in the toilets were empty almost our entire stay, as were the paper towels and perhaps more worrying, the hand sanitiser.

We mentioned this to reception on at least 2 occasions and even saw a receptionist go over to check the sanitiser dispenser closest to the bar. Having verified it was empty we assumed they would arrange for it to be re-filled...but no it stayed empty for the rest of the trip.

Even in normal times not re-filling soap, paper towels etc. is poor, but during a health crisis it is unacceptable (I should however point out that there were some sanitiser dispensers that did not run out, so I'm not suggesting it was all of them).

Check in itself was very quick and easy, the receptionist was very helpful and gave us a brief overview of the hotel (it is massive so this was quite helpful), we then walked towards our room and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a Junior suite, which had a large double as well as second room with a sofa made up into a large camp bed for our (small) daughter. It also had 2 bathrooms.

The room decor was nice, it had a large balcony and even a partial lake view, albeit mostly blocked by trees.

The hotel provides bottles of water on arrival, but due to the pandemic cleaning had to be requested on an ad-hoc basis (i.e. if you needed new towels etc.), but not a big deal and of course that's just the way it is at the moment. The only real gripe we had with the room was that one of the fridges didn't work (but as we had a second one, it wasn't a problem for us) and the air con only seemed to work in one section at a time, i.e. if you had it on in the bedroom it didn't cool the lounge area or the reverse, which seemed odd. But that aside, it was spacious and reasonable value too in terms of cost.

Breakfast was included and was reasonable, not amazing, but nothing negative to say about it. The hot selection and pastry selection were maybe slightly limited, but in reality there was plenty of choice and they seemed to keep it topped up fairly frequently too.

Unfortunately some of the restaurants weren't open, so we couldn't try them all, the yacht club in particular looked promising and it was disappointing to find this was shut as the web site implied it was open (if you check now it clearly shows the Galleria restaurant is shut, but no notice the yacht club restaurant is shut), however there were still 2 places to eat on site (at this time, normally I believe there are 4 in total) plus an additional bar (additionally if you have the half board option then you can eat in the same place as breakfast, although we didn't try this for lunch or dinner).

The Chata restaurant serves traditional style Polish food albeit the menu is very limited. The setting is nice and the food seemed reasonable, maybe a tiny bit more costly than what we are used to (in Poland), but then again we normally go to the South which is probably a bit cheaper than the Warsaw area!

The lobby bar nearer our room was shut, which is a shame as the decor looked nice, with comfortable looking chairs! But the main lobby bar was open and other than Saturday wasn't overly crowded. The service wasn't bad, although the cocktail selection was a bit limited, but not a big deal, there was plenty else on offer. However the food....was a big disappointment.

One thing that is generally consistent about Polish hotels (and restaurants) is that the food is almost always freshly cooked, rather than re-heated or pre-prepared (or at least it is more common than say in the UK where virtually everywhere just re-heats stuff), however the bar food was clearly pre-prepared (despite being told it was prepared freshly) as they were never able to change any items (e.g. they couldn't remove a particular pizza topping as they said the pizza's were already made...so they clearly couldn't be freshly made on request)! So overall this was the least impressive aspect of the hotel, one area they really should improve.

One slightly surprising thing was that there was virtually no wine selection and the limited wine on offer was awful (it was marginally better in the Chata restaurant, but still not great and still no choice).

Downstairs is the 'club', which was a slightly odd name as it appeared to consist of a bar, some seating, arcade games and a bowling alley. However, aside from the name, it was quite a nice area to play around in, albeit half the arcade games (e.g. air hockey and a few others) didn't seem to work. Also the bowling balls only went down to an 8, rather than the lower 6, which was unfortunate as our daughter is still small and couldn't pick these up, so we had to skip that (maybe a note to the hotel, consider purchasing a couple of lighter balls for small children).

They also have a rather worn pool table, which is pretty standard for Polish hotels, nice its there, but the balls and cloth could do with a refresh!

Overall drinks were a bit pricier than we're used to for Poland, but as I mentioned, perhaps that's because we're not used to Warsaw prices! Oh and the bar's shut quite early (which wasn't a problem for us, with a small child, but understandably seemed to annoy plenty of people as there aren't any other options nearby)!

The water park was reserved for hotel guest at the weekend, which was a good idea, we didn't try to go any other times as it would have been too crowded. It's not massive, but was clean and pleasant with a 'serious pool' and a more relaxed fun pool with a tiny lazy river and some Jacuzzi's. Compared to a standard hotel pool it was much better, however compared to some of the other hotel's we've stayed in, in Poland it was perhaps a bit disappointing, as given the size of this hotel it wasn't massive and not close to the size of the water park's we're used to in the Tatra mountain based hotels (also the water was fractionally too cold, not massively, just a few degrees).

There is a little beach area, which appeared to be shut and it wasn't clear if it was possible to hire water sports equipment whilst we were there (we got a bit unlucky with the weather anyway, but the hut appeared to be closed). It looked nice enough, but would probably get quite crowded in normal times. There were also a couple of hard tennis courts nearby, which at a glance appeared to be in decent condition, although we didn't play.

Now the kid's club was perhaps the highlight, our little one absolutely loved it and in addition there is a separate unsupervised playroom, which is paid for (but at a lower rate than the supervised kids club), which is also pretty good. They also do other fun activities for children, such as balloon animals and jewellery making.

In terms of location, whilst it is close to the lake, there are other hotels with better lake views and bar's directly overlooking the water (that's not to say the hotel's are better, simply that some have better views and access to water sports / beaches). Additionally there is no public transport nearby, so the only option to get around is taxi. A local taxi service does operate, but so does Uber, which is a lot cheaper (typical wait time is approx. 15-20 minutes and of course is slightly unreliable, so would suggest booking a normal taxi for the airport).

As a rough guide Warsaw Chopin airport is approx. 70 mins away (Modlin is the nearer airport) and Warsaw city centre is approximately 45 minutes away.

There are a few local restaurants within about a 20 minute radius and other hotels too (should you wish to have a variety of food / drink choices).

So overall, as the title says its not bad, a few things could be improved, mostly the food (although as I mentioned they should check the sanitiser and toilets far more frequently) and if some kind of bus route could be setup to Warsaw that would probably help too!
