This lodge is by far my favourite at the moment. One is greeted with such kindness and professionalism upon arriving. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! Meals are first class home cooking, and dietary requirements are no problem for this kitchen, they whip up some amazing cuisine to soothe the soul and you soon forget you ever suffered from food allergies. Our room overlooked the ocean and hence each morning we were greeted by the most beautiful sunrise from our ernormous bed! Our living space was huge, the bathrooms are gorgeous, clean and very modern. The bathtub is a treat, overlooking the Indian ocean while you soak up the spectacular sunsets. There are loads of storage space and a little coffee bar to enjoy a cuppa outside on your private deck. Suzanna our host is the most kindest, generous person I've met, who went out of her way to make sure I had something sweet and non -allergenic at tea time. Its the small things that become the big things on any holiday. I would definitely recommend this lodge for a luxurious break away especially in winter!

Fantastic view over a roaring ocean. The room was big and nice with a terrace with furniture. There were even a small pool outside the bathroom. The bathroom it self was big as a normal hotel room. The staff were very polite and friendly and the food were the best during all of our Africa tour. Elegant food with lots of seafood. The best of all is the Beach Bar, down at the seashore a large pool and bar. Very flexible and helpful staff, just say how you want it done and they fix it. One thing to remember, The internet connection is only a mobile router in the reception. Look at the sea or buy a book instead of Facebook. Another thing, a tip, come in mars. Not to crowded an you get good service.

This place blew me away, it's breathtakingly stunning. The beach is rugged and beautiful, there's a great pool bar along the beach, chef would make dishes bespoke to my tastes. Staff became like close friends. I simply loved this place. It's very remote - there are no shops, restaurants, bars for miles, so just be warned that you really will be in the middle of a remote paradise. There is little to no wifi in the rooms or by the pool bar - which i really liked. The owners deliberately did this so guests have a truly connected experience with the surroundings. The staff understood that i have a phobia of spiders and took all precautions to ensure my room was checked, sprayed and cleaned thoroughly. I fell in love with Massinga and would return tomorrow if i could.

Where do you start when trying to describe Paradise with A++ Customer Service. Massinga Beach Lodge is truly an unspoiled beach paradise. The accommodation is truly luxurious with a lot of attention to details like cleanliness, tidiness and even the views from the rooms were taken into account when placed. If you looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to a place to restore the soul...look no further: Massinga offers mile upon mile of perfect beaches, warm seas, snorkeling, fishing and a whole lot more. Suzanne and her team of staff will ensure that your every need is met, and all with a smile on their faces and warm conversations. Truly exemplary Customer Service. The food (meals) at Massinga also superb... great variety and and well presented servings. In additional to all above, the Lodge also offers excursions that are well worth while... scuba diving, trips to various sites of interest (e.g. Poppy Island)
