Best $49 room I've had in years! Great view of the lake, boat launch and docks on-site and a terrific bar and restaurant on site too that had live music! The only thing that would have made our stay better is if we caught some fish. It's not the Taj Mahal, but the rooms a very clean, everything worked, the... More

If you're over 30 or sober you won't like it. We stayed here to go to a concert at Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater because it was close. Don't do it. Stay in Branson; the drive is worth it!!Carpet is disgusting, literally only luke warm water for showers, brown recluse spiders in bathroom, cracked peeling paint, stained carpet, smelled, air conditioner... Terrible place - parties all night long with music. Not a family resort. Very outdated with many code violations. People smoking grass at the pool. This is a party resort - not for families. Only stay here if you want to party!!

Another couple along with my wife stayed at the Cove Resort Cabins. I agree with a previous post about if you're going to see a band and get drunk, for one night this place is ok. Shower was tiny, A/C didn't work well, beds were extrremely hard, and doors on the cabins could easily let critters in as they let... More

Smells of mildew and urine, no upkeep on the facilities. Boat dock is on a very steep slick hill, boat slip assignment is like musical chairs. Had to run out to buy lysol and febreeze just to able to sleep that night. The boat dock is not secure as our life jackets were stewn about, wet, along w/beer bottles, and... More

Seems like they are changing from a family area to the band and bar crowd. Cabins need updating but were mostly clean.

My family and friends have all been meeting at the Cove Resort for 7 years now. It is very clean, especially the hotel rooms. The dock and slips are in good shape and in a good protected location. The restaurant next door makes for a quick bite to eat or a night out without driving. The prices are lower then... More

I found the cove resort to be a very affordable, clean place to stay. The family owned resort was very hospitable. I spoke several times with the new owners. The old owners, I am told, were difficult. The new owners are attempting to turn the place into a family destination, and are not welcoming persons who party or disrupt the... More
