Confirmed reservation from a few months ago for king room for concert... When asked why, we were told “there’s no guarantee” of getting the room that was booked... I guess my question is, why even bother with reservations if we’re not guaranteed the room that was being advertised, booked, and confirmed only to find out, at the last second, that we won’t be getting what we were lead to believe we were renting for the night?... I guess they don’t have that available here either, like our room... Becoming a firm believer in VRBO...

When we got our room keys we asked which one was the double and the response we got was neither, we’re sold out of doubles... We showed her our confirmation of the rooms and all we got was a shrug and we’re sold out... We are silver elite members, so unless the rooms were all taken by gold members we should have had a double bed...

...The room was average, no better than a Holiday Inn or other chain, no special view this time, no special amenities and the elevator situation and lack of service made the rather expensive stay here not worth it at all...

Rooms that were paid for for today, that we likely will not enter today... This hotel is the absolute worst I have ever visited and I am extremely disappointed in their service...

For the business traveler, it's quite the disappointment... This was not the deal breaker, but the icing on the crap cake... I cannot believe this is a Westin... I thought Westin's were high end... Bonvoy is a bust, and this hotel is a joke...

...This is when Starbucks in the reception area closes. When I asked the mixologist at the bar where I could get a coffee after this time he said ‘ he had no idea’ and I couldn’t get a coffee from the bar... He could have just told me if I went up the steps to the shopping Center that there was a Starbucks ...

There was literally a line about 10-15 people long to check-in... Finally two ladies that were doing something else at a desk at the end of the counter started taking people, but for awhile it was bad... Terrible service for such a supposed upscale hotel... Also, the elevators were mostly inoperable or very very slow... It was like that on every floor and I KNOW that based on the number of people coming off the floors out into the stairwell because they got tired of waiting...

...So here I lay, in a little nest made of two chairs pushed together under a flat sheet, searching for a good Kansas Citg chiropractor...

The first day, they had a limited buffet with an omelet station, but we were told we could not have any toast to accompany our eggs.. Also, most 4 star hotels have mugs for your coffee, not paper cups and many hotels have robes, both of which the Westin did not...

We stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend... We requested to have a microwave in our room, and they said no problem!...

...I called the hotel twice to confirm if they had Peloton bikes in the gym... I told the front desk so they can better inform future guests of this... I am still fighting with Bonvoy on receiving my credits for this stay since the staff didn't input my number correctly...

...The use of the Bonvoy Marriot app was an easy experience. We arrived and were instantly greeted by staff, we did self park in the garage... The front desk person was very helpful... I asked for a room with a beautiful view and she put us in the perfect room... Our room was clean, the common areas were clean... One more thing I want to say….. the staff was working very hard every time we saw them... Whether it was cleaning, bringing in luggage, just assisting the guest, everyone was working hard to make everyone’s say a pleasant one... We really appreciated seeing this because we have stayed places where the staff was just sitting around... Thank you Westin for making our staycation a success!...

For more than 20 years I have used what are now former Starwood Hotels and have achieved platinum status. There has been a rapid decline across all the brands since Marriott took them over and the standards in this hotel are awful...

Confirmed reservation from a few months ago for king room for concert... Also, Westins are known for that beautiful aroma right when you walk into their lobby... I guess they don’t have that available here either, like our room...

The Westinis conveniently located near Union Station and the Rail service and has covered overpasses to get to the in bad weather... The room was spacious and clean but outdated... It had a refrigerator but no microwave, the coffee bar downstairs was closed Sat and Sunday... The lounge on 17th floor had been closed... Had refrig with soft drinks when stocked and some packaged snacks...
