The hotel charged me for parking during a conference on days when I didn't have a car there. I've spent more time on the phone, with the hotel staff, accounting department, corporate accounting etc. that I care to count. I've received multiple assurances that I would be refunded. Unfortunately that hasn't happened.

There was not a clock in the the room. How are you to know what time it is in the middle of the night. It took me two days to find the microwave. and of course it was not convenient to take your food down the hall. Thought the prices at the bar were uncalled for. $16.50 for a glass of wine was outrages. the last time I was there parking was free if you were staying there not this time again outrages since the prices of the room are not inexpensive to begin with. The room was nice and I did not expect the beds to be changed during our stay but I did expect the bed to be made each day. the only daily maid service we received was fresh towels

Staff are excellent. You can tell when you arrive they have an attention to detail. We were there to play at the wonderful Irish Fest across the street so the hotel had went the extra mile and made us all most welcome. Although we are Scottish, Irish is close enough. The rooms were really spacious and scrupulously clean. Check in was really busy, but it was an utter breeze with that amount of attentive staff. There was a woman who seemed to be in charge and she stood out. Not at all pushy, but definitely ‘the boss’ As I travel with the band around the world, there are places I visit that I’ll be coming back to and this is one of them. If this gets read, please pass it on to the wonderful staff, I tipped big, but sometimes these wee words might help with morale. Thanks ever so much. Willie, the Chilli Piper.

We stayed at the Sheraton while in town for a concert and had a good overall stay. The hotel is well decorated and the lobby area is relaxing. Check in was easy and we did valet parking which went well during our stay. Bell service was excellent and we ordered room service and it was brought quickly and everything was hot and well presented. There is a covered walkway to the Crown Center so it is easy to get around the area. The room was nice and had a good view. The problems we encountered were minor. One, the store in the lobby was not open when the hours in the room said it was , We went down at 6:00 on Friday night and it was closed. The book in the room said it was open until 10:00. the walls are thin and we could here everything going on in the room next to us. We have stayed at several of the hotels in this area and this was the best one. I dont think you'll find a 5 hotel in the area so this is the next best thing.

Everything from this stay in a regular king bed room went really well compared to the stay in a Studio suite in the previous year. Everything was fine except for the protruding joint compound ball hanging down from the bathroom ceiling, the pool needs a physical material update as some of the ugly outdated blue tiles were missing, and the boring transition between the elevator and the walkway to the pool needs to be redecorated and renovated. The service and staff was wonderful from my experience. Even if it was in a regular king bed room, it was refreshing to have many pieces of furniture, viewpoints where I could see the tv from compared to the Studio suite the year before. I don’t know if the tv viewing situation has changed this year in the Studio suite, but even though it was a very nice room with a nice view from floor to ceiling windows, the tv was not able to be seen by the parlor furniture. It was only fixed to be seen from the bed. That was a waste of furniture use in my opinion.

What a disappointing hotel in nearly every way. I was really hoping that this would be a good hotel due to the price and the location. I was very wrong. Very rude front desk staff. They start talking to you before you even get to the desk. We did a special staycation package for Kansas City that came with some vouchers for surrounding activities. Despite it being included in my reservation, the staff forgot to give them to me. When I went back down most of the staff had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily that was resolved and the vouchers were a great value. The pool was good. It’s on the roof so that’s nice. You know what’s not good? Rude pool employees who stare at your child in a creepy way every time they get out of the pool. These employees just sat near the pool, 5 of them, and just gossiped and stared at pool guests, occasionally getting up to tend to towels. It made us uncomfortable. Normally I don’t care about this stuff but the way they stared at my daughter made me feel very uncomfortable. The rooms are old. Musty. AC doesn’t work well. But the biggest issue of all? We found a pill on the chair in the corner. Thank god my daughter didn’t find it first. Rooms are not very clean. Only two towels for a family of three. No body wash. Look. My wife and I are not tough hotel critics or anything. We are very easy to please. But when employees are rude and creepy and when the room isn’t cleaned to the point where it becomes a safety concern, that’s a big problem. Especially for a hotel this expensive. Honestly, we should be getting a refund or something for this, but this hotel doesn’t seem to care that they could have had a very bad situation on their hands. I’m not gonna stay somewhere where we don’t feel safe or where we are questioning the cleanliness to that degree. Avoid this hotel. Try somewhere else that’s cheaper and better.

We stayed here 2 weekends for basketball. + Great team hotel with tons of places to gather and sit in the evening. +On site breakfast was very good but slow service the day we were there 30-40 min to get food. And $$, it’s not included. +On site bar is great for night time. Usually pretty busy. + rooms were clean and very quiet. Even when floors seemed full + valet staff very friendly but we always found parking on street for free. Right out front those spots are free. - only 1 working washer And 2 dryers. :-(Surprising for this big of a location. [pictures show the crazy way to get there. Take the elevator near the bar to H. Then wander around til you see something that looks like these pics :-) ] +Takes quarters / not bills but you Can use an app for each $3 cycle. - Laundry closes at 10p so plan accordingly. - The 1 laundry room in this huge hotel is a 5 min walk from the rooms. It’s near the pool. Tricky to find.

The interior of the hotel building is beautiful. The restaurant looks nice, although we didn’t make it. The staff was friendly, and check in was seamless. I didn’t run into any problems until we stepped foot into our actual room. We were on the 22nd floor, and our room felt pretty warm the whole time we were there. The smell inside the room was really gross. It smelled damp and musty. The bathroom did not have a fan in it, which was very surprising to me considering a hotel stay is typically a place where you might want the sound of the fan while you’re in there or for when you shower so it doesn’t get all steamed up. They had shampoo and conditioner and were supposed to have body wash too. They are supposed to be attached to the wall, but the body wash was gone. Typically i bring my own but i forgot it and ended up just using my husbands. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling like crazy in so many places and i felt like it was just generally kind of a gross bathroom- like i said it just smelled super musty almost like mildew. The next morning i woke up excited to make a cup of coffee to find our coffee machine had a part completely taken out of it, rendering it useless. I typically hate to complain, but i was really frustrated. I just got a cup of coffee elsewhere, but the stay was absolutely not cheap at all- and i felt like it should have been much better. When we went to check out, i felt really rushed because the man at the front said something along the lines of we didn’t need to go tell them we were checking out, just that we could leave. Overall really disappointed in our stay here, wish it was better.

Staff here is pretty abrupt. I was asked my last name as I walked in, even before I got to the front desk, so I felt rushed through the whole process. Same with checkout. The hotel is pretty dead, so I don't understand the urgency. The hotel was clean - room wise and throughout the shared areas. But if you are a female of a certain age, beware that the rooms are hot and no matter how low you try and change the thermostat, you're going to wake up in puddles of sweat. I didn't get much time to explore but it seems to be in a central location, as I was able to walk to where my business meetings were held, and there is a walkway that connects you other hotels and the train station.

Not enough staff and no security presence and no response from chat or calling front desk. We had an issue that was completely ignored. I chatted on the app with the hotel directly while in our room around 1:00 am. Asking them if we were on a smoking floor as I couldn’t sleep because of the smoke smell for the last few hours which was marijuana. I didn’t get a response from the chat and then about 20 minutes later there was a loud continuous bang on our door. I Immediately called the front desk no answer so I chatted once again to see if they said something to a neighboring room and explained what happened. Again no response. So now we didn’t want to leave the room and we were both up now. The next day I woke up after only 4 hours with an allergic reaction to what ever was being smoked. I also checked my app to see we were on a nonsmoking floor. We get a response from the chat saying if there is anything further they could do. They never responded to our issues and were just ignoring us. Expressed our concern to the hotel in feedback and all they did was assure us a staff member would not say who complained. Highly doubt this since our door was the only one being banged on like someone had an issue with us. And your Staff never responded! We called chatted nothing. Felt like we couldn’t leave the room after the banging. They provided no assistance and after the feedback provided nothing else to us either.
