I’ve never had a worse experience. I went to the desk 3 times and 2 phone calls to get basic amenities. Took 2 hours. I talked to 3 separate people. Every single one hasn’t heard about the request and weren’t helpful.

I last stayed in a Studio suite (3725) in this hotel in November of 2014. I recently came back for a one night stay getaway and decided to check out and experience a renovated Studio suite room. The funny thing was that I was coincidentally assigned to room 3725 again this present time around.

Positives/ pros: All of the hotel staff and general employees that I encountered were accommodating, knowledgeable, informative, affable, attentive, and positive. The common hotel spaces, hallways, and room were very clean. The Studio suite room space layout was nice as usual like before. All of the updated renovation and decor including the new carpet and furniture was a nice new fresh sight to see. All of the plumbing and electrical worked well, and the bed along with the sofa and chairs were very comfortable. I was glad to see that Sheraton added a sofa with a bed in it for more guest sleeping accommodations.

Negatives/ Cons: There was a chip out of the wood from the new table behind the sofa, a crack in the wooden armrest on the chair against the north wall, no alarm clock furnished on either bedside table. I had to use my phone clock for that. Additionally, now that the track lights are gone, one light source such as an overhead light or possibly a standing lamp needs to be added in the empty northeast corner of the room. The biggest negative issue and concern that I have is with the tv viewing situation in Studio suite room 3725. When I previously stayed in that room in November of 2014, the flatscreen tv affixed to the top of the chest was small and when it was rotated around 180 degrees to face the parlor area, even though it was sometimes hard to see the images on the tv at a farther distance there, it was able to be viewed anywhere from that side of the room, and then able to be turned back around 180 degrees to face the sleeping area. When I recently stayed in Studio suite room 3725 again, the tv was the same small sized one which only faced or was set up to face the bed. I tried to rotate it 180 degrees to face the parlor area, but it was tight upon turning and hard to the point of almost breaking at a 90 degree turn so I left it alone. I concluded that it wasn’t stuck and that it was only set to face the bed. I could only rotate it 90 degrees the opposite way as far as it could go. The only viewpoint I I could see it was to sit in the chair against or stand in front of the north wall. It was not a pretty sight, but a small something to take away. Just when I thought that the hotel updated with a better tv in the Studio suite, it made the tv viewing experience worse. Unlike the Junior and Executive suites there, why is there not an option to watch tv in/ from the Studio suite parlor area? Why is it only set up for the sleeping area? Why is the Studio suite parlor excluded? When I have suite access to a hotel and have some time to sit on the furniture and watch tv, I would rather be watching tv in there than sitting on or laying in a bed all day while the parlor use goes to waste. It’s too bad. It’s a nice smaller suite. If anything, all I can suggest is that a larger FULLY 180 degree rotating flatscreen tv needs to replace the present one in the room or any other Studio suite with the same dilemma. Now to further think of it, since the furniture arrangement is directed toward the undecorated east wall and empty table against it, perhaps the tv could also be completely removed from the chest surface and have a new larger flatscreen tv placed on the empty table against the undecorated wall. There is a cable access box on the wall under the table after all. It is a better option to watch tv from all pieces of furniture anyway. And also, if someone wants to watch tv from a bed, and especially before they go to sleep, the sofa turns into a bed for that matter! There you have the best of both worlds within the new furniture arrangement. The room also becomes more tied together in terms of use as well. If you want a good quality relaxing tv viewing time and experience in only a bed and not a sofa or chair in the parlor area of a suite, then the Studio suite (or room 3725) is for you. I did have a great stay with the exception of that issue. Goodbye and thank you!

Very nice rooms, expansive lobby, decent bar and good location. Parking was easy with the parking garage next door. Staff was helpful, especially the concierge. Easy walk to WWI museum, union station, Crown center, etc.

I write this review as i sit at my 14 person table in the middle of my luxury suite. 5 days before my arrival i was upgraded using 3 of my 25 Marriott Suite Night Awards to what i thought would be a great room to kick off the football season. So of course i was exited . I arrive at check in and Travis was a the time pleasant….then i got the news there would be a table in the room…..thinking small dinner table i said i would check it out and go from there. I get to the room and keys where not working…so called front desk and a nice young lady brought them up . What i found was a huge conference table smack in the middle of where the living and dining room area would be. Long story after going back down to speak with Travis i was hit with” no other luxury suites are available and this conference room is indeed considered a luxury suite ( sure ….i guess if you’re hosting a conference it may even suffice if you’re having a big party) neither which we were. So this “ Luxury Suites” has a mini fridge that doesn’t work and has a awful smell , underneath the sink there is a huge smelly stain…..not sure what it is. Long story short this room, the front desk and property fell short of Marriott quality and service. I will upload the room picture that was placed on my Marriott account the which room i was suppose to get and what i actually received. I do want to acknowledge Greg and the crew at Spectators. Great customer service.

My family and I stayed at the Sheraton Crown Center in KCMO overnight August 14-August 15, 2021. Tanya checked us in to room 3918 that has a great view to the north of the downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses were comfy and there was a desk and two chairs. The flat screen television had a decent selection of channels. This hotel recently reopened after being closed down due to COVID 19. Because of this there is only one restaurant on the property, opening at 5PM that serves bar style food. The rooftop restaurant is closed. There is covered parking in an attached garage with a $22 daily fee. The room price was about $230 but with taxes and parking it totaled about $330. We felt safe during our visit including walking to and from our car. This hotel is connected via a sky walk to Crown Center shops and Union Station, and it is about 15 minutes drive to the Plaza and also to the Royals / Chiefs stadiums. We will likely stay here again if we are in the area.
