Don't stay here unless you are willing to be charged a $250 smoking fee. I'm a non-smoker and was not around anything that could have been construed as "smoke" and yet they are charging me $250 without a bill or documentation. The manager is avoiding my phone calls. If you happen to be lucky and not get charged, the room and elevator seemed to be a DIY project that cut corners. No wonder there were not many people staying there. One bright spot was the man running the egg station at breakfast. Even though the selection of food was poor, he was engaging and helpful.
We had several issues wrong with our room we stayed on the fifth floor. The biggie was the shower did not have hot water that would come out of the showerhead but when you turned it over to cold water the cold water would come out. The towel hook on the wall was broken. The stopper in the bathroom sink was missing. There was no shampoo conditioner soap as a complementary items. No trashcan in the bathroom. The hook on the door for the security chain to the room was broken. The room definitely needs a deep cleaning the dust and the lint was everywhere. The air-conditioning\heater wall unit had birds in it the maintenance man did come to fix that issue because of air quality control but he did not clean up after himself and there was a lot of excess dirt left behind. There…
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They are charging me $500 for stealing a TV I didn’t steal. The manager is refusing to go back and look at the cameras because she knows I didn’t steal it. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, very dirty hotel, heater was broken, room was very dirty.
My hubby and I stayed here a few years ago and this place was awesome! Fun themed rooms, happy hour, great location, clean! This time around was not the same. The elevator smelled like old lady perfume (white gardenia to be exact) and at first I thought it was a fluke but we left for several hours and came back to same awful strong smell in both elevators! Then our floor (5th floor) had a strong strong acetone smell like a nail salon had just opened up in the couple of hours we left to go shopping! No happy hour...shuttle only runs on the hour and our room was not the cleanest! Disappointing for sure! Won't be coming back here again!
My wife and I have stayed here the past five years between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Each year it seems to decline somewhat, but we love the location and the staff has always been great. However this year will be our last. First, we checked in and then found out there is no longer a happy hour, the bar appears to be closed. Not a deal-breaker, but disappointing. The room was fine, we had issues with the thermostat, but we survived. The towels however are perhaps the worst I have ever seen--They are tiny and worn to the point they are nearly see-through. The next morning we were disappointed to find that the omelet station was no longer making omelets, just scrambled eggs. Once again, not a huge deal, but a letdown. So we returned Saturday afternoon at about 4:30 to…
