Friendly staff but the hotel was under construction which was not mentioned at time of booking. Parking was a bit of an issue with access to the lot was unclear but the charge was reasonable for the area. Not very close to the loop train but convenient to our chosen attractions.
We were there to visit KC at the start of the covid 19 challenge. Our options for attractions were most limited and we had to make our own fun! The staff was friendly and helpful. We received several recommendations for food. We enjoyed each! We took the train to kc and we appreciated the trolley that ran between the train station and river market area. It was still a bit of a walk from the nearest stop but easily navigated each day. We guessed it is approximately 1/2 mile. The room was neat and clean. One of the lamps was missing a light bulb. We called the front desk and a replacement was run up within a few minutes. There was also only a small bit of toilet paper in the room when we arrived. Again we asked for assistance and we got another roll. Minor challenges in the room did not ruin our experience especially since they were addressed quickly! We also used the fitness room and found everything in order. There was a cup of coffee left on the window ledge long enough to mold. We disposed of that treasure. We found plenty to eat at the breakfast each morning and the room was kept neat and stocked. It isn't the most modern in decor but served us just fine.…
Very friendly staff, free breakfast, conveniently located. The rooms are clean. Has exercise room and indoor pool. Odd numbered rooms are on the quietest side of the hotel. Even numbered rooms are on the interstate side so they are not as quiet.
Upon check-in we asked Kenneth at the front desk for recommendations on bbq and entertainment. He was more than helpful indicating on a map locations and describing the local scenes as well as giving his favorites. He recommended what he thought to be “the best bbq in KC”. He was fast, friendly, and helpful at each interaction. He was personable and funny as well. We even asked if he had more shifts during our stay we enjoyed him so much. Breakfast was delicious with a little extra than i normally see at comfort inn breakfast. Our room was clean and we had no issues at all. The vending and gym were near lobby and easy to access. The location of the hotel was a short distance from public transit as well as other local attractions and scooters were accessible at times if you didn’t want to drive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again next trip to KC!…
It is always a pleasant experience. The staff is just the most friendly I've ever met along my travels. I love the hotels so much, that whenever I plan a trip, my stay is always with the Comfort Inn and suites.
