Travelers' Choice
Housed in the beautifully renovated 1930s-era Brookfield Building which held ticket offices for various train stations, the Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown offers a reminder of the rail lines that put this city on the map. As a nod to this 12-story tower's past, our 118 guest rooms are styled with travel-themed touches — including postcard and postmark designs in rooms — and the lobby features a train mural. You can start the day with a cup of locally-brewed Parisi coffee before heading out to must-see spots like Union Station, the Arvest Bank Theater, legendary jazz clubs and world-class restaurants just steps from the hotel.

Beautifully decorated hotel in the heart of the Power & Light District. Top-notch service from all staff. Be sure to take a peek into the Tudor Ballroom on the fourth floor -- gorgeous stained-glass windows.

A completely remodeled hotel in a really cool old building. Great service, location and facility. Rooms are completely up-to-date. The restaurant and rooftop deck on the top floor are something special.

My fiancee and I decided to come here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We booked into the King Loft Suite and we were BLOWN AWAY by the beauty of the hotel and the super nice condition of the room!! This was by far one fo the best hotels we've stayed at domestically. We originally booked 2 nights, but decided to extend our stay one extra night just to enjoy the hotel and the amenities. There was a huge soaking tub and the bathroom was gorgeous. We never got breakfast or tried room service as we wanted to explore the city, but I'm sure it would have been good as well. The front desk was even able to let us stay in our original room even though I re-booked into a different room for our last night which was greatly appreciated. I'm not sure what the regular rooms at this hotel looks like, but our suite was facing SW and had GORGEOUS views and amazing sunrise and sunset views!! We would definitely return!!

You just stay here! The staff was incredible from Beginning to end of our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. After a long road trip with our dog, the valet greeted us with a smile and Hillary helped us get food even though it was late. We want to thank all of the staff! Wow...you guys crushed it!!
