Filthy room - floors, walls, door. Main door could not even lock. Tub was so dirty that we put a towel down to stand on! Peeling ceiling and holes in fiberglass in shower. Called office to get another room to no avail. If we were not so tired from traveling all day we would have left. Not a good experience... More

We were assigned a room with what appeared as mud on the wall. Was assigned another room which was almost as BAD . Walking across the floor turned white socks dark - after a stepping on bath towel the white towel was dark. Air conditioning was either on (COLD) or off. Smell of smoke was strong in a non-smoking room.... More

This place was horrible! I slept in my clothes because the room was filthy. The tub and stool had lines of black mold and the laminate flooring had disgusting remnants of hackings. The cop arresting someone for shooting up in the parking lot upon arrival told us not to stay there but we could find no other openings. Sleep in... More

First they gave us a room and said it was a queen bed and it was like a sofa sleeper; desk clerk argued with us and insisted it was a queen. No, I'm sorry, you are wrong. So we got a non smoking room with a queen after that. The room wreaked of cigarettes, there was hardened shampoo in the... More

I'm just going to go briefly into what I saw and then let the pictures speak for themselves. The "remodel" is not complete, the plugins do not work. The wooden floor was filthy dirty as you can see by my daughters brand new slippers, they're black on the bottom and so was the tub. Both beds were broke. Towels and... More

I sweat to god, the carpet looked as if somebody had died there and the outline still traced in chalk. Look it's $45 bucks, take what you get but.... Interaction with the front desk lady - with a manager tag on her shirt. Hi here for a room, I reserved. She wavers over a passing cop car... seriously. Oh I... More

I will say, it was nice to walk in and be pleasantly surprised by a modern update in the room. However, the good ended there. First, when we got here, we were told that we got a double bed room instead of the king size I reserved. Really? Then, when I used the bathroom, the toilet paper was not a... More

When traveling (driving) with family from Illinois to San Antonio, TX, we decided to stop in Kansas City for the night. It was pretty late (after midnight) and this was the first hotel we saw when we got off the interstate. We stopped and one of us went in to see if they had vacancies and to acquire a couple... More

Friendly and helpful receptionist. Beds were comfortable. However, the room and bathroom needed repainting and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. The location is difficult to get to due to road construction detours.

This picture does not depict what the rooms actually look like and I am using plural because it took 1 hour and 3 rooms before I actually got into a room that at best is to say it was acceptable. The filth was outrageous. Anytime I travel I do stay at Motel 6. I have never had a problem in... More
