We only stayed here for one night due to a mix up in our Hobart accomodation but wished we had stayed longer. We had a hearty country breakfast and dinner plus a lovely walk around the grounds. The place is very close to Richmond town (5 min by car) We slept really soundly as the rooms were quiet and dark....

We arrived early and was pleasantly surprised that we were able to book in early. We even had our luggage carried up to our room. The room was very nice and clean we had the tower room and could see amazing views from all 3 windows. It was a treat to watch the sun go down over the little town...

What a great place to base your travels in and around the general Hobart area! We are enjoying the views and hospitality of our hosts. Such a historical area and the grounds are beautiful. If we come back to the South East we will definitely come back here to stay!

We booked the room online whilst travelling and upon arrival found the most beautiful room and ensuite. I can honestly say that this is the most beautiful place i have stayed in all tasmania. Would be well suited for elderly or infirmed as there are no stairs and the ensuite is huge and disabled person friendly. This includes wide doorways...

We stayed here last fall and were amazed. The owner faithfully reproduced an English Manor painstakingly researching and doing much of the work himself with his wife's help. The road to it is not the greatest but, when you arrive in the daylight you are absolutely amazed at the care that was taken.

Old style cottage style buildings set on 100 acres, ours included a pretty large room with an equally large bathroom. For less than $100 a night this was incredible value, really nice rooms & amazing farm property that you're free to walk around, explore & find your own spot for a picnic, cheese, wine & beers that you bought at...

This is a quaint place but the big wooden lion that greets us on entry speaks of oddity. Lugging our heavy suitcases up the ever narrowing winding staircase was a challenge made more difficult in the dwindling light. There is a beautiful chandelier in the centre of this but staff continue to turn it off. We did finally find the...
