This place is basic, clean and well cared for. It fit our needs perfectly. We had a back room on the first floor. It was small but typical of other accommodations we stayed at in Peru. The size was fine for a couple The price was right.

We spent only one night in Naylamp, in July, but our staying was very comfortable! The hostel is really close to the beach, across the street, has clean rooms, large spaces to relax, good wi-fi, private parking and a small library at the reception. The cuisine is not the best, but the cook was nice to us, so the after-taste... More

Naylamp is a nice hostel of good value in Huanchaco. We preferred the rooms around a little courtyard on the first floor than the rooms on the second floor in a building across the street. Friendly staff as well. Great pick in Huanchaco for budget travellers.

We stayed in hostel Naylamp for a few days. We really liked the atmosphere. It's quiet but there is enough room to meet other travelers. The restaurant has got some good dishes. I especially liked the grilled verduras salade, with zucchini, eggplant and other fresh feggies. A nice terrace with sea view. Vale la pena!!

Camped here twice. Solid amenities, good communal kitchen with refrigerator, warm showers, clean bathrooms, free wifi (pretty reliable), cheapest camping and dorms in town, and quieter than the places closer to the center.

The place in itself is nice, with ready access to the beach, well kept premises and clean rooms. Unfortunately all this is nullified by the almost constant noise pollution. The hostel is split in two parts, a lower and an upper tier. We stayed in the upper one. The problem with this, which by the way is more expensive then... More

Ask for a room on the second level to get a sweet ocean breeze that'll have you dreaming of coconuts, sun cream and Nemo. Naylamp has been one of my favourite hostels across Sth America. It's the duck's nuts oh zentown. I suggest you book a few extra nights.

The Naylamp is a fantastic hostel to stay at in Huanchaco. We stayed in a private double room and it was clean and the shower pressure and hot water worked perfectly! The staff can't do enough to accommodate you and we enjoyed breakfast everyday on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The restaurant is adequate and we never had a bad... More

This place was awesome. We stayed in a room in the lower block but I really wish we'd had a tent, as we spent most of our time in the upper camping block either cooking in the kitchen, lazing in the hammocks, reading, or watching the ocean. You can hear the sea from anywhere in this place! Not a luxury... More

This is a good, basic, place with very nice people running it, good food and just nice rooms. The pictures are this site are a good representation of the choices here. There is the older place up front with the new building, and campsites, up behind, across the road. This is not as inconvenient as it sounds as the newer,... More
