Super helpful and welcoming family owners and staff. Stayed three nights and had a good time experiencing the local Huanchaco culture. Did two surf coaching sessions with John and went out on the caballito de totora as well with an insightful discussion with Santos. Didn’t have time for chicama so I will be back !
Loved my stay here, so much so that we extended it a few days. The hostel itself has everything you need and the crew working there were great company. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything you needed. Located in a good spot, super close to everything and can see the waves crashing from the balcony. The surf course was awesome, I was able to stand up after the first lesson. John is a great coach. We did an awesome day trip to Chicama too, all organised by John. The hosts, Miriam and John are lovely and were super accomodating and friendly when they came around. Would highly recommend this hostel and surf course!
I loved indigan hostel. It had real family vibe too it, great location, close to fruit and vetaibke market, you can see the beach from the balcony. Very clean, beds where comfy, showers were hot and the famaiy will always look after you when comes to surfing. They also ran a surf school too.
I spent 5 weeks in total here in this nice familiar hostel, very close to the beach! In the hostel you'll find everything you need: hot shower, full equipped kitchen, wifi and a beautiful view from the balcony! Everything is close like the Huanchaco market only 2 blocks, shops and a lot of places to eat around the corner! They also offer caballito-Tours and you can rent surfstuff and take surflessons! To go to Trujillo the bus is also right next to the hostel! I really enjoyed my time here, thanks!
Had my very first surf lesson here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Instructor was patient and set out the steps very clearly. Very friendly and was taught in both Spanish and English. Great beach for beginners!
