Travelers' Choice
On the edge of the lovely Paracas Bay and surrounded by the sublime setting of the Paracas National Reserve sits La Hacienda Bahia Paracas, a hotel that is more than just a place to sleep; rather, it is a refuge, just three hours south of Lima, for anyone seeking peace and tranquility far from the hustle and bustle of the city. When you stay here, be prepared to experience sunsets beyond compare, perfect beaches as if created by Hollywood, nature bursting all around you, and utter, complete relaxation. There are times when you want to experience something unique, so we offer you our spectacular swimming pool that affords you a marvelous view of the bay. When you want a late afternoon snack, swing by our café; if you want to indulge yourself, arrange for a massage at the Oceano Spa, or if it is just a quiet spot where you can curl up with a good book, park yourself at a corner in the El Candelabro Lounge. If it is fine dining and excellent food you seek, then look no further than the El Coral Restaurant, and then end the day in the company of live Peruvian music in our Marineros Bar. For people who want adventure and nature, our hotel and restaurant have joined forces to create a huge list of outdoor activities. There is also our specially built museum/exhibition hall where we put on view more than 500 Pre-Hispanic artifacts: pottery, textile, metal, and feather art. It's a trip through Peru's rich cultural tradition. We have on display a collection of more than 1,000 sea shells that hail from all over the world; their vivid colors and unimaginable shapes prove to us that there is no higher art than what nature herself creates.Cecilia Alonso Ferrer; peruvian, with studies in the School of Arts at Catholic University in Lima, Peru. In New York she had the opportunity to know and experience her applications in decorative art. During the next 7 years she improved her work and became fully qualified at the Painting Institute in Brussels, Belgium where she won the silver medal of the course. When she went back to New York, she had the responsibility to decorate and restore the Public Library and the Pinnacle of the Presbyterian Church of the Fifth Avenue. She also carried out other works in different residences of New York and other important cities. Then she extended her artistic activities to Venezuela and Peru. We are also contributing to Paracas, the first area in Peru set aside for conserving marine ecosystems and star of one of the loveliest settings along our coast, through publication of the book, Paracas, Marine Sanctuary. The limited edition CD "Paracas, A Musical Experience" was born out of the inspiration of the select group of Peruvian musicians who night after night perform for us at the Marineros Bar.

Beautiful hotel in Paracas with stunning ocean views and exquisite amenities. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly. We were lucky to have the same waitress (Estefania) on both nights that we were here. Thank you to all the hardworking staff (from housekeeping, grounds keeping and the whole team) that strive to make this place memorable ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Hotel's Favorite
We had a brief stay here at the end of June, the rooms are large and comfortable, a great view of the sea, comfortable and large balcony space, one of the best showers during our time in Peru. The amenities are very nice, good food at the restaurant, and excellent Pisco selection at the bar. Staff is friendly and attentive, the hotel is right on the border of the Paracas Reserve, so make it an ideal home base. Highly recommended!

My friend and I visited this hotel to enjoy the California Desert in Peru and take a boat tour of the Ballestra Islands. The hotel is very picturesque and impressive. The room was very clean. The bar was great. The buffet breakfast very acceptable. The dinner we had was ok but my beef tenderloin was tough, chewy and overcooked. The lunch we ordered was promised in short order because we had a car picking us up for a return to Lima. It didn't come quickly as promised. And it was essentially a tasteless, greasy pesto with miniscule ¾" shrimp for me and a poor excuse for a salad for my friend. Very disappointing all around for that lunch. The dune buggy ride was interesting and we brought back a lot of sand from sand boarding. Before going to dinner, we removed our valuables and my Rx from the safe and put our cash and passports on our person. We asked that the room be swept while at dinner because it was very gritty from our sand boarding. I made a mistake by leaving my prescription pill bottle with two weeks heart medicine and reflux medicine on the bed in a prescription bottle. When we returned from dinner and I went to take my statin and BP meds the bottle had disappeared along with two weeks of vitamins and ibuprofen and Sudafed that were in the one bottle. We triple checked my luggage and the room just to make sure I wasn't mistaken though I distinctly recall removing them from the safe. We approached the front desk and reported the situation but the maid was off premise by then. Essentially nothing was done. They asked the maid if she took them. Did they expect her to say yes and lose her job? Like, duh. Did they offer to replace them? Nope. Not the way to treat guests imho. When I obtained only the reflux med on the return to Lima it was evident why she took them. The cost for two weeks in Peru is 3.5 times the cost of 3 months in the States. The lesson is don't leave any Rx meds in plain sight when traveling in Peru. They are too tempting to dishonest hotel employees. Find another place in Paracas if you intend to visit.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and has stunning Spanish style decor. The hotel also has it's own museum which is well worth visiting and is right on the beach so good for bird watching. I definitely felt relaxed and taken care of during my visit.

This hotel was magnificent! Tucked away, you don't know what it will be until you enter the lobby and see the pool area, unbelievable!!! We didn't want to leave! The staff, room, restaurants, etc. were top-notch! Especially Estefania at La Coral restaurant. The boat captain/guide, Alex and Alexander, who did the Ballestas Island tour were excellent as well. I can't say enough about this place! It's a must!

Best stay in Paracas! Huge swimming pool by the sea! The staff super gentle and able to give everything you need! They also booked for us a tour to the reserva. The restaurant and the breakfast were amazing with a lot of choices between seafood and meet. Perfect also for allergies as they have gluten free food and lactose free milk and food.

My partner and I stayed here for just two days as a final relaxing leg on our trip around Peru. It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The weather seems to be always good in Paracas (can’t say the same about Lima!). It’s also a convenient location to make the plane trip over the Nazca Lines (well worth doing but you need to book). The staff are also all very friendly at the hotel, we were impressed by Mercedes and the other staff on reception as well as Marco Antonio in the restaurant. Highly recommended. Russell and Stephanie.
