La Haciënda Bahia Paracas is a resort like hotel. The rooms are a litlle outdated, but they are big and they have huge, comfortable beds. The swimming pool is well designed with a beautiful view on the bay. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. A must-do tour is the daily trip to the wonderful Ballestos Islands... The very best view of the sea with a huge pool and excellent food. From this place you can easily go to Ballestas islands, to Pisco aerodrome and visit Nazca lines or to colorful beaches (gold, red and black).

La HACIENDA is a beautiful hotel. It resembles the old haciendas of the earlier times. The rooms are very comfortable, the pool is lovely and the food is very very good! you can also enjoy different water sports.

This hotel was one of the highlights to our trip to Peru; it is beautiful, modern, with a rustic decor. The grounds are spectacular, the pool is huge and goes around the hotel; we had a suite on the first floor and the balcony goes into the pool, that was amazing. The room was big, the bed comfortable, the bathroom... More

La Hacienda is a modern, luxury hotel situated on the bay of Paracas. We stayed for 5 nights, unlike most tourists who use it as a stop en route to Nazca or Lima, so feel we got a good measure of the hotel. Here are the pros and cons: PROS - We stayed in a spacious upper floor room with... More

The hotel grounds are very nice with the pools, the flamingos on the beach, the restaurants etc. We very much enjoyed having a room with direct access to the main pool (the water literally comes all the way up to the terrace). I can also recommend the sea food restaurant which serves fresh scallops and other delicious sea food. The... More

We went to Paracas and we've book this hotel upfront based on the tripadvisor ratings. The hotel is really good with great rooms and a big bathroom. They have an incridible museum with a lot of old pieces from the peruvean culture. We do recommend this hotel.

The road out the peninsula is bumpy at best. It seems they were working on the road every few feet, but once we got there, the hotel is breathtaking. My room had an ocean view, and an outdoor lanai where I could sit with my wine after dinner and enjoy the evening breezes. There were ramps beside every group of... More

The hotel is situated on the beach but is isolated and very expensive for meals and drinks. We asked at reception where we could go to eat and were told it is a 10 minute walk to downtown you could do it in 5. Well I walk around 5 miles a day so I am not slow. I walked for... More

I don't understand why anyone ventures to Paracas. 175 miles of bleak desert south of Lima there is little to recommend the long ride to arrive in this nothing of a town. Having said that, the La Hacienda Hotel was an oasis. The large room with comfortable balcony, the easy to book spa, as well as the excellent private museum... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On the edge of the lovely Paracas Bay and surrounded by the sublime setting of the Paracas National Reserve sits La Hacienda Bahia Paracas, a hotel that is more than just a place to sleep; rather, it is a refuge, just three hours south of Lima, for anyone seeking peace and tranquility far from the hustle and bustle of the city. When you stay here, be prepared to experience sunsets beyond compare, perfect beaches as if created by Hollywood, nature bursting all around you, and utter, complete relaxation. There are times when you want to experience something unique, so we offer you our spectacular swimming pool that affords you a marvelous view of the bay. When you want a late afternoon snack, swing by our café; if you want to indulge yourself, arrange for a massage at the Oceano Spa, or if it is just a quiet spot where you can curl up with a good book, park yourself at a corner in the El Candelabro Lounge. If it is fine dining and excellent food you seek, then look no further than the El Coral Restaurant, and then end the day in the company of live Peruvian music in our Marineros Bar. For people who want adventure and nature, our hotel and restaurant have joined forces to create a huge list of outdoor activities. There is also our specially built museum/exhibition hall where we put on view more than 500 Pre-Hispanic artifacts: pottery, textile, metal, and feather art. It's a trip through Peru's rich cultural tradition. We have on display a collection of more than 1,000 sea shells that hail from all over the world; their vivid colors and unimaginable shapes prove to us that there is no higher art than what nature herself creates.Cecilia Alonso Ferrer; peruvian, with studies in the School of Arts at Catholic University in Lima, Peru.
