Last week I had the extreme pleasure of visiting Troncones Mexico and staying at Mi Casa Es Su Casa. The whole week I spent there was incredible! I stayed in one of the bungalows, which had a very comfortable king sized bed and very clean bathroom. Outside I had a large porch with a hammock, an L-shaped padded bench (great... More

We just returned from our 8th stay at Mi Casa in the last 10 years. We stumbled upon it 11 years ago on a day trip from Zihua and fell in love. This is the most laid back place you can imagine. Quiet, remote, safe. No phones. No TVs. (But they do have WiFi in the hotel and restaurant). Very... More

This is a get away. All I can hear are the waves crashing from my second floor balcony in my hammock. Paradise! The hotel is clean and quiet, all the service staff are happy to help in any way. The rooms are clean but not fancy! We spent our first night in a very comfortable king size bed.....with just a... More

I spent 2 months in Zihua this winter. I decided to take the bus to Troncones one day. The public transportation is fantastic. I walked for miles on the magnificent beach and decided that I absolutely had to come back and spend the night. Mi Casa Es Su Casa had caught my eye because it is so colorful, has a... More

Lovely place to stay in Troncones. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The on site restaurant is excellent plus they support the local children. Rooms are very clean, location is ideal, good wifi, small shops right across the street. The only negative is we didn't get any hot water but it is a small trade... More

We, a family of four, stayed for only one night. Troncones is a bit overbuilt and over-crowded if you are looking to get out of the rat race. It is good compared to Ixtapa but you can find beaches that are more remote. As a hotel first the +'s * Verandas are second to none. Great job of providing a... More

I feel so at home here. A wonderful family run hotel on the beach. Beautifully kept. So relaxing to sit and watch the waves. Spacious beautiful rooms with kitchens, AC, ceiling fan, porch w/hammock. Great restaurant right on the beach. Everyone here has been so helpful with my family's needs. I recommend it highly.

Troncones is a hidden away spot but well worth the visit. I was warned about travelling in Guerrero but I felt safe at all times and had no issues at all. The location is right in the center of town with access to everything you need, A surf break right out front was a big bonus, Nice clean rooms and... More

We stayed here two nights and tried to learn to surf. While the waves weren't very good for beginners we really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were really nice and spacious. We had our hammock on a deck. We enjoyed using the pool area and ate at the restaurant. Both the hotel and restaurant staff were very... More

“I did not see the rooms for couples or singles. The family room had a total of 4 beds and one bathroom. The family rooms would not be comfortable for more than a night or two. The single rooms may be better and good for more than one night.”
