Thank you for your comments. We're sorry there were construction works going on next to our property while you visited. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it and we're hoping it will be over soon and it will be quiet again. Yes, there has been a recent scare about getting sick from the water quality around here. We have had on and off problems with the water treatment plant, for many years. The good news is major renovations and repairs are going on right now, and very soon we expect to have zero problems there anymore. Right now you will see a lot of online posts about people getting sick down here, especially a few very large wedding groups. We are more inclined to believe that was norovirus, brought down on the plane, and spread quickly within a large group. Either way, extra precautions are being taken. Town cleanup is in high gear, trying to keep the streets extra clean, we are instructing our maids to do more bleaching of doorknobs and other places which are touched by many people, and we are recommending extra hand-washing, maybe some antibacterial gel to carry around, and even some probiotics (maybe even just yogurt), for anyone who wants to be extra careful. We're positive that al this renovations will help a better growth for our town. Thanks again. Junto al Rio Bungalows

No complaints, we had a beach bungalow just 30 steps away from the beach bar. Loved how close we were.. we were also close to the markets, liquor stores & restaurants. I liked that we had access to the beach chairs in front of where we stayed. We could order drinks & food but
