Just finished our 3 week stay at Casa Kukana - a private one bedroom unit that is attached to a larger home, on a hill just above the main square and beach at Sayulita. Totally gorgeous ocean and jungle views from the bedroom, kitchen, living room, and private terrace. Even from the shower. We have stayed at one of Suzanne... More

This is a beautiful place, from sunrise to sunset. The views are amazing. The pool relaxing. The grounds are very well maintained, we thought a stunning property. We went for the cost effective option and were situated in a lower west side apartment. Not great views, but a small sun deck offered a place to relax and have coffee in... More

We (2 of us) stayed in the English Country Bungalow for 1 week, the last of our 3 weeks in Sayulita. We visit Sayulita annually and on this trip my regular casita was only available for 2 consecutive weeks, so I contacted Suzanne and this bungalow was available for our third week and we jumped on it. I am so... More

We had such a crazy experience with this place that I am compelled to share it. I read many reviews of this property before settling on it and was amazed at the difference in our experience vs many of these other reviews. I’ll try and spare the emotion and just provide you with our exact experience. We stayed in town... More

I communicated with Jason quite a lot before he arrived to Sayulita. I even had my Taxi driver Luis go and pick him up at the airport and take him to the first place he was staying. Casa Kukana is not 15 minutes out of town on the road. It takes about 5 minutes to get from town to the... More

Just returned from 10 days at Casa Kukana. I stayed in the English Bungalow with my wife and two little ones. Everyone agrees it was the most relaxing trip we've taken. The property is a meticulously groomed oasis that makes you feel like you've moved up a tax bracket or two. It is easy to let the day unfurl slowly... More

We stayed for a week in the Moroccan, with friends staying just upstairs in the larger unit with the kitchen and had a wonderful time. Suzanne and her adult children were lovely and helpful, Santiago and everyone else who takes care of the property and gardens were also delightful. The gardens are absolutely stunning and the view of the beach... More

We were visiting for a wedding and opted to stay here with another couple. Unfortunately our friends couldn't make it so we would have the place to ourselves. But in reality, the owner lives there too so technically it is not 100% private. That aside, everything was great. We had other wedding friends over for cocktail hour one night, it... More

A Hilltop Piece of Heaven!! My husband, one year-old daughter and I just returned from a week at Casa Kukana. It was our first time in Sayulita, and our experience could not have been better- largely thanks to Suzanne, her staff, and her incredible property. The house itself is breathtaking, with each of the two accommodations being equally amazing and... More

Upon arrival, we got out of the taxi, shook off the town dust and arrived at the most peaceful and lush Shangri-La. Casa a Kukana is more than an architecturally amazing villa (which it is) but the first thing that hits you is the impeccable grounds that encompass an unsurpassed view down the entire beach from the yard and infinity... “Both bedrooms in the Moroccan Bungalow are sufficiently spacious, upstairs is slightly larger, both included ensuite baths. The main living area and kitchen are located on the upper level, so the lower bedroom is especially private.”
