This hotel is so special that I bring friends here as an excuse to have to return....just to show it off! When someone builds with such passion and love it creates a soul inspiring experience and this is the exact feeling I get every time I visit here. Highly recommend casa Roca- bye far the best room. Super sweet massage... More

Where do we begin? Our experience at Playa Escondida was absolutely the best hotel we've had the pleasure staying..The employees were always kind, smiling and helpful. Everyone of them. When we requested a room change for an air conditioned one, no problem! Truly, everyone was beyond helpful, but there is one individual that stood out that I want mention and... More

Let me just start by saying we did not actually stay on the resort which is maybe why things were so awkward. We were staying at an Airbnb in Sayulita but wanted to come see the resort, get massages, spend some time on the beach, and eat dinner. After talking with reservations about this we decided to just make dinner... More

Staff, food, beach, room - everything is wonderful. I 100% plan on returning frequently. Really the only bummer is they charge 3% additional to use AMEX. Somehow this policy was implemented in between paying my deposit and checking out a few weeks later. Other than that they were very accommodating and flexible when I needed to change rooms and even... More

Love the views, the room, clean and beautiful. If you want real vacations where you can relax, sleep, enjoy your time and spend time with your couple, this is the place. The beach area, the bar, the food at the restaurant are also Greta. You can rent a golf car at the hotel and go to Sayulita town to have... More

First, Playa Escondida is a really beautiful place. The resort is low-key and the staff is first-rate. However, when we arrived at the resort we were informed that the Jacuzzi was not working in the room we had reserved (Sol 3). It was disappointing as I had watched many of the website videos and specifically wanted that room, but they... More

I’m really sorry you didn’t have the best experience possible. Our oceanfront environment is very hard on equipment and sometimes parts take several days to arrive from the U.S. when we have breakdowns. Thanks for your feedback on the path lights. We now have beautiful lighting along the path. Once in a while we have some mosquitos which breed before... More

We love them all...Juan, Jose, Jesus, Armando, Diego, Edgar, Joel, Rene...I know I am leaving someone out. They were all amazing and treated us like family. They go out of there way... More

Diego, the owner of Playa Escondida has found the magic key to getting guests to return again and again - it's his ability to maintain a great staff! Through that staff he is able to provide a very consistent and predictably great experience for his guests. In our visits, the latest this May for a week, I never heard the... More
