We stayed twice at El Pueblito during our vacation in Sayulita. During our first stay, we had a premium family room - nice living/dining/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, nicely decorated and with a balcony overlooking the pool. So pretty! We enjoyed the free morning yoga classes on the rooftop, which is an absolutely gorgeous area for yoga - open air, surrounded by plants and treetops, complimentary mats and blocks, nice teachers. After morning yoga, we'd head down to the pool area for breakfast, which is served til noon. It was delicous! Several different made-to-order breakfasts to choose from (including pancakes, not on the menu), served with a plate of fresh sliced fruit and choice of juice, coffee, or cafe de ollo. Really nice staff, too. After spendingthe days walking around town and down at the busy beach (about a 5 minute walk) we'd come back to the hotel and enjoy the pool and awesome margs from the bar. So nice to have a place to escape to! Additionally, Amparo at the front desk helped me get my jean jacket back that I had accidentally left at the hotel. It is EXPENSIVE and pretty difficult to get an item mailed from Mexico to the US. Hint: Use UPS Interntional (has pick up service in Sayulita and is the most reasonably priced). Amparo found my jacket and packed it for me, and attached the mailing lable that I emailed to her, and gave it to the UPS person during the scheduled pick up. Thank you for a great stay, and for the exta service!…
I went there to participate to a yoga class given by Montse. The location is great, located on the roof top of the hotel. The teacher, Monste, was very prefessional. She adapted the yoga class for us, I went there with my boyfriend and it was his first time doing a yoga class. I fully recommend this place !
Spent 11 days here with our 6 year old son and had a wonderful time. Hotel room was clean and had a pretty cool layout. 2 bed 2 bath upstairs with a nice living room/kitchen area and beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. Swimming pool was cleaned every morning and had a shallow area for kids (about 2ft) and the rest of the pool was about 4.5 feet deep. We got the breakfast package and enjoyed their tasty dishes in the mornings. The pool bar was open till 5 and they shook up some pretty tasty margaritas. We were able to rent a golf cart directly from the hotel which was very convenient. Location is a block from the beach. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Sayulita.
Two blocks from the beach. Really nice pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to arrange horse back riding and transport to and from the airport. Room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was not equipped for cooking—we had to go out and buy things like a parring knife, bottle opener, and salt. The pool did get a little rowdy at times.
My extended family spent 6 wonderful days at El Pueblito and highly recommend it. The suites were large, spotless, comfortable and fully equipped. The bathrooms were the same, with plenty of hot water always. The hotel is beautiful and the pool is great for the whole family. The included breakfast was delicious. Finally, everyone on staff was always helpful and happy to help. We look forward to our next stay at El Pueblito Sayulita.
This hotel is in a perfect location. Close to everything. We stayed in the Premium Master Suite which was huge and great. Separate bedroom for the kids, 2 separate full sized bathroom, full kitchen and even a pull out couch in the living room. Staff was very nice when we interacted with them (which wasn’t much). Breakfast was good. My reasoning for 4 stars vs 5 is just simply the little things that were lacking and the lack of communication. We were bummed that our room was one of the only ones not facing the pool. We were facing an alley and baseball field. At one point I asked at front desk if some time during our stay we could move to a room with a balcony over looking the pool and he said he would talk to housekeeping about finding us a clean room and would let me know….well, we never heard back again. Oh well. Also, a huge room with 2 bathrooms and 4 guests, with only 2 bath towels. When I asked for more towels, I was given pool towels. Huge closets in the bedrooms with 2 hangers. First day, housekeeping cleaned our room (well, they made the beds and emptied the trash) no sweeping or anything like that. Second day, no housekeeping. When I asked why not, I was informed they only clean If we ask them to… So…not deal breakers, we really enjoyed the hotel but little things made me take a star off. Definitely has potential for 5 star, but just lacking little things and communication. Same with wifi, we had no idea it was the code on the small white box behind the phone til we asked. Simple instructions for things were lacking. But easily fixed. We would return, just good things for people to know. I regret not asking for a pool view. So maybe ask in advance.…
Staff was very helpful! Jose and Ampa were great, I got in early and expected to just leave my baggage and come back for check in. However, they told me they had a room ready for me! The room was clean and had a great view of the pool/courtyard with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious! It includes a coffee, an orange juice, a fruit plate, and your choice of main dish. I selected the huevos rancheros, very tasty. Although I only got to stay a few days, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I just got back from a 3 week stay at El Pueblito Sayulita. We booked the Premium Master Suite - it's a big suite for just the two of us, but perfect size and layout for a family. The hotel location is ideal, just on the outskirts of the town center and a 2 minute walk to the less crowded part of the beach. We prepared and ate most of our meals in the suite using the small kitchen. There are plenty of little grocery stores, produce stalls, and a butcher shop within a block or two of the hotel. The hotel staff are terrific, very helpful, and keep the property spotless! This was our first trip to Sayulita and we loved it - there's plenty to do between strolling the town, spending time on the beach, and hiking. We'll be back again and plan on staying at El Pueblito Sayulita!…
My husband and 8-year-old son stayed on May 22 & 23rd. We stayed in a family room, El Mundo and it was great! The location was perfect. You could walk downtown and to the beach. There were several restaurants, cafes, and stores very close. The room was clean and comfortable. My son loved the pull-out bed and loved it. He loved the pool too, we all did! There was always someone in the lobby to help if needed. I had never been to Sayulita but LOVED it. Unfortunately, we stayed 4 nights in Puerto Vallarta, I wish it was 2 nights there and 4 at El Pueblito! We even walked to the bus station to get the bus to PV, it's that close to everything!
A five minute walk from the louder downtown area of Sayulita, which makes it perfect. Clean rooms with full kitchens. Great courtyard with a pool that is perfect for families. Reasonably priced with helpful staff. We’ve been to Sayulita several times and definitely recommend El Pueblito.
