I agree with the other reviews. This hotel is an unexpected surprise in St. Anthony. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was better than expected in that I was expecting nothing more than coffee and pastries based on the "continental breakfast" description, but cold cereal, fruit and toast were also available so I had everything I needed...

I really liked this hotel. It is painted in lovely airy colours that matched the fresh, new interior. The front staff, Kathy, gave us the friendliest welcome we've had in NL, and that's a high bar! The room had a kitchenette and a balcony. The location was great, just down the road from Fishing Point, where you want to go!...

As we learned, the Grenfell Heritage Hotel & Suites is a renovated nurses residence. Consequently, the rooms are larger than typical hotel rooms. Ours also had a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is basic but very well maintained. The staff is especially friendly. A generous continental breakfast is provided but the setting for it is somewhat unusual: a conference room...

We stayed here for two nights in July. Our room had a small kitchen area and a sitting area off to one side of the bed. The room was clean and recently renovated. Our room was close to the end of the hall where we heard the ice machine and noise from the stairwell. The doors are wooden and heavy...

We spent 4 nights in this lovely, immaculate modern hotel. The staff was attentive and pleasant at all times. Our room had a king size bed and 2 leather chairs in a seating area. We noticed that many rooms had sofas as well as the leather chairs. The location is excellent. We walked to take the Northland Discovery Boat Tour...

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was very welcoming and really took the time to give us directions and tips while visiting the area. Really made us feel at home. Thanks

We stayed here for 1 night with our two kids (ages 5 and 8) so that we could easily visit L'Anse Aux Meadows in the morning. The hotel is in a great location where we could walk to restaurants using a a path along the cove. The room was a good size and was clean. The bed was AMAZING -...

Was surprised at the size of the room. There is a sitting area and a kitchenette. Room was clean and comfortable. The only downfall is if you're on the lower floor it's very noisy up above. If you have mobility issues stay on the lower floor as there is no elevator. Breakfast was continental, simple but nice. They offer gluten...

We decided to take one of the package deals offered by the Grenfell Heritage Hotel and we were not disappointed. When we arrived, we were greeted by Mary at the front desk who was extremely helpful and she informed us that our 'welcome package' had already been placed in our room. Our room was more like an apartment; kitchenette, dining...

we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Really nice rooms. Large with a sitting area and a kitchen. Clean, nice beds, beautiful floors. The staff was super friendly. AC units are a bit loud. Breakfast was laid out by 7am each day. Laundry facilities are available in the basement.
