Great location--fantastic views, close to great hikes and good restaurant, very warm and welcoming hostess, the very best breakfast we had during our almost 3 weeks in NL, and a comfortable room (ensuite). Donna made us feel right at home and she was great company-- learned a lot about the area and the culture over breakfast. Highly recommend this spot.

First what is great about this place - the hostess - the view - the location - the breakfast. But the rooms are very tiny and not recommended for anyone over 1.4 meters. Only one chair, no place for clothes, bathroom door hard to manipulate to use. Other than the size of the room this place is quite good, particularly... More

Fishing Point hangs out over the water at the entrance to this beautiful harbour. The view is breathtaking and if you have time you can sit on the wharf in front of the house. Donna is the host, friendly a d helpful. Each breakfast included local delicacies like pan-fried cod or moose sausage. Delicious.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in St Anthony. The room was comfortable and had a spacious ensuite. The view from the room was unparalleled! Fantastic view of the harbour - we saw many fishing boats going in and out during our stay. There is a dock and back porch with comfy patio furniture. We had our take out... More

We spent 2 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast. When I met Donna she reminded me of HM the Queen! She is very regal and a perfect host. Our room was perfect and in the morning I saw a whale and a new iceberg around the corner. Donna makes the breakfasts at her house and brings it in the... More

This is a charming lovely home with a long history, converted to a B&B. The bedrooms and living/dining room overlook the harbour, in fact the building is perched on a cliff that provides a breathtaking view from morning until dusk, and the twinkling harbour lights continue to shine all night. It's very quiet, has good wifi, the bed was divine,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2015 and I just received an email from Trip Advisor that documented my reviews and I realized that I had not reviewed Fishing Point B&B. Better late than never. We LOVED the place. So quaint and authentic.Incredible view.Guests that stay at a B&B have to realize they are staying in someone's personal home... More

Pumps ran all night right under our bed. No heat until 9:30 pm. Private bath was out in the hall with no privacy to and from. The breakfast was awful - an attempt to be cute that failed. Breakfast was very slow desipte the woman knowing we were in a hurry. People smoked in the rooms despite signs saying no... More

We arrived on a blustery afternoon - and as soon as we walked through the door, we were wrapped up in the warmth of this home! It was Les's parents home and it has been converted into a bed and breakfast. There are 3 rooms - all with ensuites and all have views of the water. Donna and Les have... More

Beautiful spot, close to everything, cozy cottage with a down home feeling. Crystal clear water with a huge dock to sit out and watch the boats go bye. Host is very accommodating and lives right beside the guest house.
