We visit Vologda for three days during Hew year holidays. We stay in the hotel Atrium for two nights. I must say that hotel is rather good : big room and warm, good breakfast, you may go to the restrant for dinner, small but very good shop with some very tipical gifts from Vologda. The stuff is very polite and helpful....

A good choice in Vologda if you don't long for soviet nostalgy. Tidy room, friendly service, moderate pricing. One minus: on third floor the wifi was poor. Good enough breakfast. 5 minutes walk from the historical sights. Asiallinen paikka Vologdan keskustassa. Ei mitään persoonallista, mutta siisti, tilava huone ja hyvä palvelu.

Atrium Hotel in Vologda was chosen for its comfort. While staying there I was surprised by friendly stuff. They tried to help me in solving my daily needs: souvenir shops, taxi, restaurants. The room I stayed was well equipped. Only two imperfections I would like to mention: there was not so warm and no sleepers. Breakfast was quit good and...

This a decent hotel where everything is alright, but nothing special though. The rooms are ok, the service is good for Russian standards and the breakfast is ok. If you get a decent price for the stay, this is an ok stay.

Atrium is a standard business hotel with good rooms and decent breakfast. Nothing bad to say, but nothing exceptional either. Reliable place to spend one's night in Vologda. Breakfast was modest but sufficient. The hotel is located more or less in the center of the town.

It's either here or the Nikolevsky and I don't think there is much between them. The atrium looks the part from the outside but there is no sign of competent management around. The rooms are big enough, clean enough. The TV looks like its on rental from Rediffusion. Breakfast could warrant a chapter in my Worst Breakfasts in Russia book....

We had mixed feelings before coming to the hotel. None of our relatives in the town knew of the hotel and the administrator confused the details of the internet booking, thinking that my Russian wife was in fact booking a single room for me. In fact the hotel is a very good standard, and the staff are welcoming and attentive....

I can recommend the hotel for sure. Nice location, near the center, a decent supermarket at the walking distance. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bed, fridge, TV and good bathroom. Good breakfast. The service was alright either. All in all very good hotel although quite expensive.

It was comfortable enough. This was our first trip to Russia, so wasn't sure what to expect. There weren't the amenities that I usually see in a three star rated hotel. No mini fridge, no coffee pot, no ironing board. To iron clothes you must ask the housekeeper for an iron, the ironing board is ever-present in the hallway -...

The building is quite modern and is kept in good condition. It looks promising both from outside and from inside. The problem is with the management. First, you've got to pay upfront for the whole of your stay. This is highly unusual for hotels this expensive in Russia. The next thing you notice - there's no minibar in your room....

“Our interpreters room was overlooking the back of the building and a side street lined with trees. There were crows flocked in these trees that made a big racket every day, which drove him crazy! We were on the third floor and overlooked the restaurant's deck and the main intersection. The noise level was fine. Traffic didn't go on all night like in some cities. I don't know if it is different in other times of the year.”

“There are three types of rooms: facing a main street, facing a side-street, and facing the yard. The best ones are (counter-intuitively) the ones facing the side-street.”
