My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights during our recent trip to Russia. We choose this hotel because of its convenient location - very close to the Railway Station, Bus Station and the city center. It was probably a great option for us since we didnt have a car and that seriously limited our options. But I would... More

Renovated Soviet style hotel in the center of Vladimir. Location is very good: very close to many attractions and railway station. Staff do they best. But rooms and furniture are very avarage. Map with local attractions was provided free of charge? which was nice and helpful.

Tiny, but clean rooms. The location is great-within walking distance from the train station. Best option for one night stay on a budget. Breakfast included, check the photos here to see what we were offered.

The brekkie and wifi were good. Staff were fairly helpful (though claimed to have no idea where there's a post office - answer: across the road and down half a block - they should know this kind of basic info). The brown Formica furniture and polyester sheets were somewhat unexpected in a hotel that's supposed to be high-ish end. And... More

Ok so here are the photos showing the first room with broken toilet and nice tiles. The replacemeant room Had working toilet but broken sink and tiles fallen off wall. It also smelt of body odour which we had to vent with window open actually no use at all so be it smelt like someone was dead under the bed.... More

Well I don't normally bother writing reviews but this one is about the worst I have been in here in Russia. When we checkedin we were told wehad the superioe standard room which makes it even more worrying. The bathroom was a joke. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. The toilet did not flush at all. The... More

Vladimir Hotel was the first stop in our tour of the Golden Ring of Russia. Our group consisted of nearly 40 members, nevertheless the check-in took only several minutes as everything was ready, rooms distributed, keys delivered. They only had to collect our passports which were returned back less than an hour later. The hotel is in the very center... More

I stayed for one night in September 2014 having booked through Booking .com. The hotel is very handy for exploring the town and the ensuite room had all facilities. WiFi was poor but OK in common areas. Breakfast was good. Staff were extremely helpful.

Vladimir is the old capital of Russia. It is not large and not much entertainment. The beautiful Assumption Cathedral & St. Demetrius' Cathedral are definitely worth a visit. The Gateway to welcome the victorious army is also impressive. There are some very nice old brick houses & other structures side by side with the new concrete ones. 1. We stayed... More

The hotel I believe used to be the best hotel in the city. It is not up to contemporary standards, but is OK overall, as long as you are aware of its shortcomings and willing to accept them. It is located very close to the bus/ train station (about 10 minutes walk), but it is up a fairly steep hill,... More
